Not his peak lighting but peak is around 6k lux. And he does run the halides over the one tank for around 2 hours a day. I don't know the reading from those but the frag tanks run between 3k-6k

wow. that makes very little sense unless its really long photoperiod...

That's why I said it was confusing. I value every little bit of information I get from everyone but sometimes it's conflicting. I think everyone has to find their niche and whatever you decide stability is the most important, and nutrients of course ;)

Thanks. Details below.

Innovative Marine 20g. IM Desktop Reactor for Carbon or GFO. Gen 2 Radion XR30. MP10. Sicce 1.5 Return Pump. Bubble Magus Doser for BRS 2 part. Red Sea Coral Pro Salt.

Oh this is a frag tank! That makes sense. What do we all do when we add new frags to a tank? Put it in low light areas for acclimation? This helps reduce stress from fragging.

@Uwdanno, beautiful tank.

Here's my EVO 13.5. I recently just switched to an SPS heavy tank in December, so I haven't had a lot of time to grow things out.

Here it is.

Mostly SPS with some LPS down low and GSP I can't remove the rock, hah.

No skimmer. Change about 3 gallons of water weekly. Run chaeto in chamber two with a 12-hour reverse photoperiod. 2x AI Prime HD.

Parameters:
Alk - ~8.4 dKH
Ca - 450 ppm
Mg - ~1450 ppm
No3 - 2 ppm
Po4 - 0.00 - 0.03 ppm

I recently began dosing ESV B-ionic 2 part manually and need to get my jebao doser up and running because dosing 3 mL each morning and night is causing some Alk swing daily. I also don't test Mag very often because its never been lower than 1450 on Red Sea Mag Pro.

I'm planning to get the doser up and running this weekend. Hopefulky today.
