We're going to kick this week off with a classic sps! The Garf Bonsai is an old favorite but still a very sought after piece.

man mine looks washed out compared to yours only the tips have purple color while base is very light pastel lavender. yours is very nice

Here's mine(or what I had purchased under garf) I also have a bali tri color and have since had owners of both tyree pieces check out the tank and say they look as though they may have been mixed up upon receiving. But either way this is the bad boy I have been growing under the garf ailias. Its purple purple with the bright green polyps and the said to be tri color is green base with the blue tips and same amazing flourescent green polyps so.?. Always been a favorite.

can anyone verify this? @Revhtree maybe thats why mines pail im bleaching it? the tips are purple the the base (80-90%) very pastel light lavender

Frag colors always look so good. Was making frags for the FT last night and decided some garf needed to be added so here's a couple pics of some garf I worked up. The deep purple with the flourescent polyps-such a sweet piece-hands down.

That would contridict itself-as the base would be the more shaded area and should've been holding the deeper purple. I have had mine in a couple different light levels and the lower it is the deeper the purple. It is now at the water level and though it looks great I have lost a lot of the deep purple the top of the colony once had at lower levels but the shaded base is a great deep purple still-so it has been tried and true for me.?.
