spspirates 150 gallon build

Nice. Is it just a regular 1 1/4" female adapter? Going to be using the same pump helping a friend plumb his system.

It is. Let me know how it goes for you when you start to plumb his system.

OK, founded it. 1 1/4in adapter threaded, 1 1/4in bushing slip to 3/4in threaded barb. The 1 1/4in adapter screwed in pretty well the first 3 threads then became nice and snug 5 more threads in. I did not put a true union on but can and may down the road but if I do need to work or clean the pump it can be lifted out and worked on out next to the sump.

im glad you found it lol , i seen it and ran to home depot and did the same lolol ... teflon tape helped it go in alil better but i think i was only able to get about 6 threads deep . i think thats good enough . thx for the pics man

Awesome! Yea that's definitely enough bite. I cranked it down about 3/4 the way down. Your right looking at it its about six threads in.

Nice looking pump Andy let me know how it works out for ya! Thinking about switching to that one in the near future.

just wanted to let you know that there is a store that has a bunch of the Real Reef Rock 4.0 up in springfield just south of DC. By the looks of the container they had it in it looked like there was 200 to 300 pounds.

OK great! I think I have a source for some good rock Friday but if it falls through I'll have to take myself up there. Thank you!
