Hes looking pretty happy in there. I wonder if introducing him is what encouraged your mantis to cruise or if its just coincidence?

It's funny how freaked out I'd feel if this creature lived in my reef tank. Yet as a recreational Northeast striped bass fisherman, I have no problem handling big sand worms, which look very similar, and hooking them to use as striper bait... and I've been bitten by their sharp pincers too!

Everybody's still well. Got my mantis shrimp on top of one of the circulation pumps yesterday. He is definitely more active since the worm was introduced

About halfway through this video you will see his head and tail in one particular spot underneath the large rock. That large spot is where the mantis shrimp cave was. The two caves are now connected and I cannot find the Mantis. It's possible he still under there but he is definitely far under

I noticed this morning that most of the rubble with the palleys and polyps and Kenya Trees that were in front are all pulled to where the front of the Mantis cave was. He is collecting all the rocks in the tank and making the cave bigger.

Maybe the Mantis is still in there trying to create a wall between him and the worm.lol

He was about 18 inches unstretched when I put him in
