Tank ruined

people are wanting to give you things because of your great attitude, I dont feel that you havent earned it because they know you are the type of person that would do the same. Id accept the things .That way if this happens to someone else you would be able to pass it on. This is a hobby that you have to give and receive. Hope everything goes well.

Thank you. I didn't think about it that way.

I agree very much with this post. We help others, and we also need to be willing to receive help from others. That way, we give and receive with a pure heart.

...and I would add that a "gift" by definition is not something that is earned. We want to give bc it's a blessing to us to be able to help someone else (we have all also been helped by others at times...). It's important that we all learn to "pay it forward." Don't feel like it's got to be something "earned."

I have three son who are now grown and stand on there own two feet. I now have grandchildren who I try and pass on the same things I did to there father. You are the type of young person who gives me great faith in our future. You have set high ethics and standards for yourself. Your parents must be very proud of you. With that said you need to sort out the difference in a hand out and a hand up offered in friendship and goodwill from caring people just like you. I wish you all the best in your rebuild.

See what I mean little man. I knew you would. You are to mature not to.

Don't quit!!! If you do that just makes the damage done go further you worked hard for what you had keep your chin up and make it better than before.

Friend, the willingness of some on this forum to help, and in a very real and tangible way, by literally giving frags and not just words, just may be the most redeeming aspect of this "hobby" I have seen - it truly gives me a warm and fuzzy. It can be so "commercial" imo. I hope your parents understand, and you are able to accept the gratuity.

Need some advice. Panorama pro with 7 modules, or radion xr30w first generation for the biocube? Picking one of the two up from a local tomorrow.

id say radion..even if it is Gen1(youll prob get a good deal), simply because you can upgrade to the Gen2 or pro through ecotech. seems to be a better platform and overall a great light.

Radion gen 1 was to much for my nanocube 28g. Par was to high and all of my acans morphed bc of to much par. Light was 10-12 in above surface and I was running at 25% on their bluer program to resemble 20k at ecotechs recommendation. Was just to intense for my corals. Sorry to disagree ^
