Sweet looking tank. Nice looking corals

Does Seachem fusion part 1 & 2 and aquavitro fuel be almost as good?
Just curious as although I have used it in the past I haven't been using it not really knowing how. Now I understand so I can use those until finished and switch to Aquaforest

Actually not, as they dont cover all trace elements which you supplement by using 1+2+3. They are just the basic elements or two parts. You may try fuel as thats different than the elements.

Thanks jsker. Really appreciate it!! And Bob seachem fusion doesn't contain the "micro-elements" that components 1,2, and 3 do. From what I've researched nor does a calcium reactor. This isn't to say you cannot use one or fusion 1 and 2. For a while I used BRS calcium and soda ash in conjunction with Components Stromg

And saw great results but have seen much better with components 1 2 and 3 that is to say the results will be the same whether you mix your own or buy the liquid supplements.

Hmm a LFS that a fabulous frag tank and great looking corals tried telling me that was all they use.
I course believed him

Bob, it's not to say you cannot run an amazing tank with other products because you absolutely can. For me, working in the field and being in the hobby for 4 years I've found that this system is 1) the easiest and 2) the cheapest (as far as running whole programs go). You can use seachem 1 and 2 and your corals will grow and thrive. Please be aware I run AF's SPS program not their mixed reef program. You can add trace elements to your tank using their product components strong. Adding trace elements is a debated topic im the hobby as far as corals absorption abilities. I take the position that they do based off of my experience. Hope you find this useful!

Thanks and I do. I was more curious and I found some containers that will work so I will go to the Aquaforest thank guy

Can you do daily automatic water changes with this system? I currently do 1 gallon per day on about a 350 gallon water volume.

You can if you use their reef salt. their reef salt is cheap, mixes super fast (like ten minutes tops), and is lower in Alk than some of these other salts. I personally use their pro bio salt because of the sps and wanted low nutrients. Idk if it would be useful to use their pro bio because it should be added to the tank right away to get the benefit of the bacteria and amino acids.

You say all of their stuff can you list them for us please and how you use them
Thanks. I'm ordering the component today but will wait until my Red Sea coral salt is done before ordering the salt

Go here and download the guide, the guide explains the different approaches to different systems and what to use.

Bob, I use the following of their products because I run their SPS system

Components 1,2,3

Pro bio salt

pro bio S (everyday)
NP pro (everyday)
Coral A,B,E, & V

A and V are dosed every other day in the evening

B and E are dosed everyday in the evening

I run their phosphate minus.

And plas recomended I will be adding a ceramic bio media- like marine pure to my sump by the end of the month. It's a place for the bacteria to populate heavily.

Hope this helps

Great tanks!

My tank is running the full AquaForest regimen as well. Here's a video I took a couple of days back of my acros -- will add a full tank shot later.

You might want to watch it in 1.5x speed so you don't get bored to death :)

nice collection of Acros thanks for sharing
