Could the dosage be done every other day? Or it is something that has tone done daily.

Yes everyday but also depends on what your goal is if it's ULNS then will need to dose everyday but if it's LPS and softies could probably ease up on dosing once nutrients are under control

Based on this & I'm no expert but I'm sure nutrients won't raise in a mater of a day would they? So if they are under control won't every other day make sense? I'm just curious to know!

Also because at the moment the only thing I'm struggling to control is phosphate which are 0.25, other then that everything is at zero including nitrates.

So I have been doing some reading of this thread (definitely not the full thread as it is lonnnngggg) and other threads. After talking with a guy at a LFS that I sometimes go to, I think I am going to switch to AquaForest products.

I have about 170 gallons of total water in my system.

I am currently using Red Sea blue bucket salt and BRS two part calcium and ALK.

I was going to switch to the AF salt and the component 1+2+3+ system to start with.

My tank is currently LPS, anemone, and softie heavy but want to start adding some SPS to have a nice mixed reef. I also have 16 fish currently in the tank.

I currently run BRS Rox .8 carbon and Phosguard in reactors. I also have a large MarinePure block in my sump. I ordered a UV sterilizer that I will be hooking up this week.

I tested my parameters tonight, calcium was 410, alk 8.4, mag 1300, nitrate 0, and phosphate 0.

Does anyone have any advice on the best way to switch? Also based on my parameters and livestock mix what would be the best product mix to start with?

I agree with @ClownnGoby Just start switching out the product. I started with 1+2+3+ then the reef salt.

P04 is pretty high . You should be shooting for .03-.00
I would dose everyday but if you decide to try every other I'm thinking it still will work but will take longer for bacteria to populate and drive down P04 also I would run some Phos minus to get that number down

I think the safest answer would be to go ahead and try every day and test. If they don't raise up then you are fine.

We need more tank photos!

3-6-16 when I started the tank on AF products. Didn't have nearly as many SPS frags as I have now.

10-11-16: Had to take a picture on my bday :-). I have given a few of my starter corals to friends of mine to make room for the WD Tenuis and a few others that will be delivered from Adam at BC on Tuesday (really excited).

10-13-16: This was taken to show off where the tank is and I love the turtle painting my fiancée picked out.

@Aquaforest,

Having a look on your "Aquaforest Product Guide" in different languages there are some incoherence between versions.
Taking example with the English & French version,
On the English version you tell us that there is no Bromide inside, also that Reef Salt is Phosphate and Nitrate free.
Then having a look on the French version, you tell us that there is Bromide in small quantities and nothing is referenced about the phosphate and nitrate.

I am actually running ozone on my tank and I would like to have a clear statement about the bromide.

Just thought I'd check in here with everyone! How are ya?
I still have cyano but I believe it is slowly diminishing. I stopped dosing everything but 1+, 2+, 3+ and Bio S. I basically thought I would "Start over"
Today I also unplugged my media reactor that has Carbon, Phosphate Minus, and Zeomix in it. I think I am going to remove the zeos I believe that they are just stripping my water of nutrients too fast as NO3 is 0.5ppm and PO4 is 0.015ppm. But I did add fish so I am debating whether or not to keep them or take a break from them for a few weeks. What do you think?
I realize that I hate the IM Filter socks and I am hopefully going to order a media rack just to run floss to help catch detritus.

Can anyone tell me if Strontium & Molybdenum minerals are included in AF components 12&3?

Can someone please explain to me exactly how to dose the aquaforest products?

Hello,
You need to be more specific please. Which product are we speaking of? Please read the user guide, this is covered in the guide, as is all the products and what they are intended for. Be happy to help, but you have to do your part too :)

As far as I understand, I only need to dose the component 1+2+3+ am I right?

Yes also bio s which is baterica then moving over to pro bio S & NP pro which is media that feeds the bacteria. These will help lower nutrients for example nitrates, phosphate.
