And another thing Gonzo if I had bought yum yum and people were bashing you I would have stood up for you

Not as a fan boy but the thing that you are totally not understanding.

It's my money and for me WD was worth it.

No use. The guy wants us to get upset by his useless and harmless words haha.

Diesel- just because your frag does not have the coloration you want, please do not link all of us with a WD as a phony or the same exact issue you are having.

1 last post. You started the thread fella. Not my fault it didn't turn out like you thought it would.

If I count you asking for a yum yum that's 2 people in this thread. But yet I have not sold to either of you.

Still not 1 frag posted of the wd comes close to the mother. That's the point chief. Especially your frag lol. I can't tell the 3 apart hahaha

Ah thats okay Chief Master Funk, have fun with your garage operation and best of luck selling your corals. Good to know you deny people sales just because you disagree with them. Very professional.

-xoxo tootles.

I don't understand why he is mad at me coz I bought a coral that doesn't look like mother colony.

And on top of that he is more mad because I told him that I knew what my frag looked like and I still bought it for extra dollars.

I want to buy the yum yum because it's nice. Not because my WD is crap. Lol

I buy many corals a lot of vendors will attest to it. So I tried to buy yum yum.

He thinks denying me service will make me mad ot upset.

No, I run a business too and I never discriminate between customers. Even when they are rude to me.

Amateur at best

I have nothing to say except that it is my money and I spent it they way I see fit. None of any body's business.

Hahahah

I deny because this is not a yum yum sale post. It is BATTLE post lol

Garage is the only way to go. I am already married. Why would I want to be married to a store to lol.
The garage provides me all the freedom in the world. Like today. I am gonna go to the wholesalers and do a little picking. Then it's beer thirty :)

Diesel - I agree with your comments but your frag of the WD appears to have changed color or is changing color or the picture is not true to the real shot. I understand you believe the WD you got is not worth more than $40 bucks. I sincerely wish your frag the best in getting its colors back. As you can see in my pictures, I DO have the colors already. Maybe its water chemistry, lighting, diff. frag, who knows.

Nope, not changed.
Picture is three weeks old and it's still as is, I will stick my hands in fire before I photo shop my corals.
Water chemistry is good for my other 140 corals which most are high priced corals as you can see in my build thread as comments appear that my tank is "on fire".
The problem here is that all corals that were sold as WD don't look like one include yours, as was mentioned on your pics"what are we looking at?" be honest to yourself and to this hobby and just say YES it doesn't but I won't give up hope and keep on trying, till to a point as reached and you know it will never happen to get it as the original.
Points are made and that's all to nothing more nothing less.

In conjunction with my previous comments, this thread only proves that lineage doesn't matter like most people have been saying for years. Corals can and will change no matter who you got it from; so the thought that lineage will make a coral retain its colors is flawed. But above all, it is not the fault of the seller that your coral/frag doesn't look like his once it has adapted to your system. If he sent you the wrong coral then that is another thread in its own.

You guys want a yum yum. Send me $300 and I will send ya 1.

How's that :)

Thanks for your opinion :). When I first got my frag is was really blue and now it has changes somewhat. It still is a .5" frag so time will tell. Sounds like you have a really nice tank and hope to see it too :)

@Gonzo - lets see your almighty tank.

So you charge people who have a WD $200 bucks more just because you disagree with them? Thanks but no thanks. Try not to get too mad on here bud. Your true character is showing.

Wasn't your last post a couple of posts ago? Must be getting to ya ;) xoxoxo

Will send you 400 dollars. Keep the extra hundred because I hurt your feelings.

Send paypal lol

Also if you have a problem with photoshop in vendors you should talk to them straight.

Don't attack innocent reefers who bought from him.

You know how to get a hold of Mike Biggar. So man up and ask him.

Send paypal like I said. Lol

My tank has a thread in my sponsor forum .

That yum yum you are referring to was a live sale price ;) one you asked to buy and never did.

All talk.... you had your chance and passed it up.

Funny how people with garage operations say "we this" and "we that" when talking about their business. You should change up your "About" the company details to "me and my garage"

I should change the about to.

Looked at all the mean comments, the ugly blue pictures. Lot of school yard huffing and puffing. Another thread designed to troll.

Not a lot to debate about with so little photographic history. But the debate rages on.

There are so many other frags more costly than this one but only this one seems to ignite such passion.

if I ever get a chance to name a coral, I'm starting with either the passion or the troll.

It seems the longer you reef, the more your interests develop in to more exotic coral. I've spent a lot on various acros that turned out well and others not. They morph, they never color up, they blossom, and some don't make it. Gotten misnamed, misidentified corals. Been taken care of and taken advantage of. Found some gems for a song, over payed for others. My money, my choice. And of course, there is the fool and his/her money. Not sure why some feel so comfortable criticizing other people's choices whether it be over a coral or lifestyle choice. Cmon guys, lighten it up a bit.

well this went downhill fast...

before this gets locked i'd like to say i have over 40 acros in my tank including the WD, RR OP, RR Pretty in Pink, JF Fox Flame - being the more expensive of the bunch. Out of all of them my favorite is a no-name tabling acro that i bought for around $20 bucks at the LFS because it was brown and didn't look like much. 3 years later it's gorgeous. It's my favorite because I feel like I accomplished something in helping the coral morph from a caterpillar to a butterfly.

It's true, the JF Fox Flame I have looks exactly like what they do in pics. It truly is gorgeous, even when I got it as a 1.5" frag it already looked like it's mother. But I had no hand in that. Sometimes I compeltely forget I even have it, as beautiful as it is my eyes just sweep right past it. My eyes always tend to focus more on the acros I'm trying to get to color up - mainly the WD, OP, and the Pretty in Pink.

My point is, I want to do the work to get these guys to color up. I don't want the easy route, I want to test myself as an aquarist. If the WD colors up anywhere near the mother colony then great! I've succeeded. If not THEN I would be disappointed. But judging by how things are going currently it looks like it truly may end up like the mother or close to it. So please don't s#it on my little adventure here. :)

PS - the biggest (and only) disappointment thus far in my tank is my WWC Somewhere Over the Rainbow...over a year it's encrusted quite nicely and grown many times its size yet it still just looks like a red planet (not a bad thing but I already have a red planet)...

Great insights. Keep me posted through PM about your growth later on. I will do the same with you as well. :)
