Tropical Fish and Temperate Fish: Water Temp?

He's in with an Atlantic Blue, White tail Bristletooth, Betta, Decorated Rabbit, Stars and Stripes Puffer, and a Starry Blenny.....all smaller juveniles. Tank is a 90g, which is temporary for about 6-7 months. Moving my reef from my 180 to a 300, and then my FOWLR will be in the 180. He is doing great with tank mates and the flow. He's actually hard to get pictures of because he is constantly moving...and quicker than expected...I would say he moves faster than the puffer

A little online research says that 65f is the targeted temp to have an easier time to keep this fish for long term success.

I know it's optimal, I just can't go that low with the other fish...they ship poorly as it is according to the shop that sent it to me accidentally, and I don't have the ability anyway, and none of my LFS would take him....so I'm hoping at 71 everyone will stay happy. He doesn't appear oxygen deprived with the warmer water and his appetite seems good, lots of grazing on LR

Nope, I said that in my first post, I ordered fish and this ended up in my box along with the other fish

You say gift, but I say stress! I didn't technically have a place for it or know much about it...it's been researching the web, and talking to the shop owners about how I can care fore it with what I've got. The shop owners are were the 71F came from. It is a beautiful fish though and I hope he can thrive!

Lol, it was that and within seconds I thought "that's an ornate boxfish!" Then I was in disbelief about it because I've only seen them in pictures on the web a couple times and could only guess at what they cost...thrn once it was confirmed as an ornate I thought "where the hell can I input it, is it reef safe, food requirements?" Then came the inevitable....it's a temperate fish

Lol. And potentially toxic too. But it is for sure one of a kind...., and surely one that stressed you out - keep it or sell, Something this hard to come by but what do I do with it.

And we're eating pellet too! Second day in a row now I've seen him actively go for it. So far so good, great personality also, always swimming in the open, never hides.

Looks like he is going up to the water surface to look for food. I've always heard that doing so isn't good for box and cow fish cuz the extra air ingested may cause some swimming bladder issues. What I've failed to succeed is to stop the cow and box fish that I've owned in the past from doing so.
