Update.

So tank delivery didnt go as plan. Moving company almost walked away from it, as it had to go down stairs and weight came in above what manufacture thought. Weights about 620lbs. Good news though, it made it down safely lol. So glad I went with starphire glass, looks incredible.

Reno in basement is almost complete. Carpet in about a week, so dust levels in house will finally be subsided. In mean time I'm receiving all my product and Neptune order in next day or two, so I can start that install. Check out my control board I made for mounting all Neptune product, the orange and black, and I'm also mounting a tablet on it (I also thought of tablet ressessed or wall flushmount on basement room side, would look cool, still debating which to do).

Starting plumbing the tank this week also. Rock work I will do asap as I want to cycle rock. But figure I'd take the time to make perfect aquascape and plan it out properly. Then I'll fill and cure rock.

That tank is Awesome! You are doing a great job on it.

UPDATE.

Ok so I'll post some photos, just been caught up with everything.
- So plan is all electrical etc, will ne chased through the raceway right back to Neptune panel.
-plumbing is basically complete aside from figuring out bean animal heights, and one missing split ring support. And running 4 lines from dos's back to sump.
-yes I'm aware UV bulb will require removing small section of pipe. Easy to do, and this is how it had to be for space.
-1 1/2" abs on far side of QT is for water changes if I feel lazy.
-sump I've added a piece of plexiglass to protect sump from falling objects, or basically people.
-sump utility light for ease of cleaning etc. And grow light ready for when I need it.
-water make up station has a mag pump for cycling salt res or pumping back to tanks. I've double valved between RODI and salt res. In the event someone accidentally touches my valves. Also piped valve to laundry tub that I will use as a RODI faucet.
-black pipes with orange strip on both sides of frame work is a receiver for a shelf platform I've made. So I can get up and reach bottom of tank with ease. I show photo later with it in, works great.
-also made myself a little future work station. And basement is nearly finished aswell.

Does 24v power supply that comes with dos same as what a fmm needs for power when you want to use fmm to power acc port?

Also the aqua bus then is what powers dos?correct? Ya man, @scott11106 your a huge help

yes for the power cord, i think the dos has to have its own power supply to 110v

Man I'm inching to start cycling. But considering between fish room and basement. Dust has obviously been out of control. So aside from holesawing my control board. That should all be illeviated now. Then one good vinegar clean for everything and were off.
I figure at this point, I might aswell finish wiring everything completely. That way I'm not having to reach over anything for no reason. I'm hoping to have all wiring done by end of this weekend.

@scott11106 do you think I should add a ball valve to my secondary drain from overflow? I have gate valve for full syphon line already. But now second guessing if I should add ball valve to secondary? Just seems maybe redundant to add it

no need for a valve on the seconday drain line. you did it correctly as if the flow gets to the secondary you want it to free flow

What are some equipment items you would double up and plug into EB8. Example I have 4 - hydra 26s, I can plug them all together so they only use one outlet. Maybe 2 QT filters together? Just seeing what I can do to open up a couple outlets

yes you can double up anything that you want to come on and off at the same time, with the lights just be careful as they draw more power than most other equipment. also remember that keep anything separate that you may want to track power usage. for instance, i have 2 return pumps and they are on separate outlets so i can monitor each one and if the power fluctuates i know it needs maintenance.

Probe placement?

Sump chambers are as follows-

-Chamber one, filter socks
-chamber two, skimmer/media reactor would be.
-chamber three, refugium. This is where I'm going to place my two heaters.
-chamber four, return pumps.

As there will be lots of flow I cant forsee a problem with heaters in the refugium section unless you guys have some insight. I was going to place there as cords are closer to panels and fits nicer there.
Probes I guess need to be in area with constant water level and not be submerged? I think I read. I could put in return section, but what happens if probes submerge due to tank syphon back to that chamber? I was thinking also in refugium section? I could put egg crate to keep chatoe to one side later on

i have my probes in the skimmer section as less flow and less light to minimize algae growth so i would not put them in refugium area, i put one of my heaters in the skimmer section opposite probes and the other in the refugium. do not put probes or heater in return area.

So I'm going to put probes in skimmer section. And heaters in skimmer section. Will just work better for me I think too.

Maybe stupid question, but...

So setting up apex. Plug everything in. All eb8 etc. Flashes beeps, everything is good. Apex goes into wifi setup mode(blue light). I have a samsung S8. I am connected to my home network like it states to do. I then go into my wifi settings, click wifi logo that says apex setup. After I click onto it, it doesnt connect. When I click on icon, it disconnects me from my home network to connect to it. Then prompts, no internet connection available......ugh.

Also, do you wipe programming of outlets clean from the presets? As their programming doesnt really make sense for what I need to do. So I'll have to program all the outlets myself I guess

HELP.... I just want to link this dang thing. Long days work to get stumped by this.

Never mind, it was a stupid question.I figured it out. So I've reprogrammed all outlets, going to test soon. For things like skimmer, I used its predetermined output for something else. Then just copied programming for to different outlet. Should be fine I think.

the best way to set apex modules up is to use the module in the drop down, you will not need all the inputs like you have listed except for power or inputs for a funtion and i usually rename them to something that makes sence with the 2_1 so you know unit and port

Awesome, thanks @scott11106, I'll use those parameters for my display heaters.
So I've renamed and located every piece of equipment through fusion. Only thing left as far as programming goes is the modules. As I'm using the optical to send alerts or shut off solinoid valve. Still need to figure that out but I'm sure there is a video for it.
Everything is calibrated aside from probes which I'll do later on. And one missing Wav that comes this week. And rearrange my dashboard.
Salt reservoir has my 5 gallon inkemints, with optical to alert me when it hits 6 gallons. Reservoir holds 55 gallons. Added plexy top and opening lid. Rodi reservoir I'm using three opticals.
Control wiring all cleaned up, and so glad I used wire raceway to hide everything, except under my qt, which I'm going to get another piece of raceway and redo it.
FINALLY I GIVE YOU LIGHT LOL....oh man this thing looks epic. I'm currently making water and getting ready to get the system wet. Qt first, then display in couple weeks after wife and I do aqua scaping.
Basement is complete, and I dont think I'll be getting board of this view .

What you all think of that CONTROL BOARD...........turned out awesome I think.
