You can get a cap for that pump and only use half of it, which should be fine.
If you bought it new, it should be in the boxI’ve been looking but can’t find one! Know where they are sold?
Should have came with your pump. If not I’m sure one of us has one we aren’t using. I know I do if you need it, I could send it.

small and wide flow from what I hear...I am thinking about picking up a cpl for my 90...
just a thought. I am playing around with a build like this too not that I "need" 3 fish tanks in the house. lol

So this could probably work. The only catch is I’d have to buy an apex adapter or a controller to make it work. For that price I can get a completely different powerhead that’ll fit the tank better. So I’ll probably go that route.
Would you considering downsizing to the IceKap 1K gyre? Should still give you plenty of flow and the magnet mount is in the center not offset on both sides.
So here is the plan
Equipment
-IM peninsula 20
-2x XR15
-sicce return pump
-XF 230 gyre
-InTank media racks
-Neptune Apex
-Neptune DoS for Auto Water changes
-Neotherm heater
-Caribsea Liferock
Livestock
-naked clowns (if I can find them)
-dwarf angel (flame back, potters, etc)
-goby and pistol shrimp
-cleaner shrimp
-crabs and snails
-Algae Barn refugium started pack... chaeto![]()

The white Long paper is where it’ll sit at my office. I’d love if I didn’t sit in a corner so I could put it next to me and be able to look through it. But this will work for now
Any concern with the weight distribution under the desk?
Yes there is definitely some concern. I am building a stand to go under the desk to hold the controller and ATO stuff. I will make it to where I can add shims or risers to support the tank from underneath.
Great forethought. I couldn't see the support system underneath but was concerned... adding a stand for the equipment will give ample support.
