The white Long paper is where it’ll sit at my office. I’d love if I didn’t sit in a corner so I could put it next to me and be able to look through it. But this will work for now

Issue #1- I need input!

Gyre won’t fit properly on AIO wall due to magnet hitting baffles or equipment. I don’t want to put the gyre on any glass wall. So if I can’t get this gyre to work I’ll have to go with another powerhead.

I want to have sand but if I go bare bottom this might be an option

Should have came with your pump. If not I’m sure one of us has one we aren’t using. I know I do if you need it, I could send it.

if the maxspext is to much mabe the reef power 26 might do the trick?

small and wide flow from what I hear...I am thinking about picking up a cpl for my 90...

just a thought. I am playing around with a build like this too not that I "need" 3 fish tanks in the house. lol

I really like this actually! Slim and sleek.

So this could probably work. The only catch is I’d have to buy an apex adapter or a controller to make it work. For that price I can get a completely different powerhead that’ll fit the tank better. So I’ll probably go that route.

Would you considering downsizing to the IceKap 1K gyre? Should still give you plenty of flow and the magnet mount is in the center not offset on both sides.

Man I noticed the gyra problem and commented but just now went back and really looked at this. This is a very intense nano build for the office, I like it!

Oh most definitely! That is one of the top choices. Only annoying part is I’d have to buy an adapter if I wanted to control it via Apex. But I can do that down the road since it comes with a controller.

Any concern with the weight distribution under the desk?

Yes there is definitely some concern. I am building a stand to go under the desk to hold the controller and ATO stuff. I will make it to where I can add shims or risers to support the tank from underneath.

Great forethought. I couldn't see the support system underneath but was concerned... adding a stand for the equipment will give ample support.

If I ever move desks and can just put the tank directly on the stand
