ULM cubicle peninsula

Now that I'm almost all set up.... This is what I'm thinking in terms of fish/inverts

Neon Dottyback
Clownfish Variety
Yasha Goby and Pistol Shrimp
1-2 Feather Dusters
Red Star Fish
Cleaner Shrimp
Halloween Hermit Crab (maybe)
1-2 Nerite snail
1-2 Nassarius
1-2Turbo
1-2 Cerith

Anyone see any issues?

Hows the icecap working for you? in my 25 I'm struggling with so much flow im blowing sand around at only 30%.

I dont know how you managed to fit all that in the reach chamber. It looks different from the last time you updated. How did you get it to fit?

Well that rear chamber is still a work in process. I don’t like all the probes sticking out so far. So I’m making a custom holder for the probes and the Dosing lines. It’ll all fit in the 3rd chamber if it goes to plan. I might have to modify the ATK bracket to allow for it to sit a little bit lower in the tank.

As far as the icecap. It’s been interesting trying to figure it out. I can’t go much above 80%. I’ll probably end up taking out some sand because I’ve had the same issue with it getting blown around. I don’t want to sacrifice flow… so I’m not sure exactly what I’m going to do. I wish their module to connect to the Apex wasn’t so expensive ($100+). The controller provided is fine for now though.

It’s gonna work!

That's an intense office nano! Gotta love em though, make for a great distraction! Mine was an easy sell. I work at a wastewater plant, and sold the boss stating that I'd be using our plant effluent in the tank to showcase the quality of our cleaned water. The client loves it!

Sorry to hear about your clearview lid. I have not had much success with them, borderline infuriating process. I did get the full complete-piece lid and it does look great. I get what you mean by it looking goofy with all the different pieces. But aside from that everything else looks fantastic!

Hope these weren’t bad choices. I was going to get clowns but couldn’t find a pair I really liked.
Hopefully adding the clowns later won’t cause them to get bullied too much.

Since the radions are at my office, I jimmy rigged the Kessil A80 I have left over. Man I really love the Kessil shimmer. I think I’ll end up taking it to work as well.

Ever wonder what happens when a bolt comes loose during planing?

Lol too much silicone?!
Never.

I noticed these were leaking probably because they’re mounted on a curve. So I just siliconed the hell outta them... Bob Ross style.

Trying something a little different. I was planning on doing mortise and tenon but I am going to do a lap joint.
The main reason is so the panels for the back and sides will be removable. I’ll use walnut or walnut ply.... but if I ever need to use this stand in a different orientation I can modify the panels to accept cables.

So I’m finally getting a little brown algae. I wasn’t sure if I’d would avoid it or not as it’s taken a good month for it to come.
I only have a 6line wrasse, 2 Margareta snails and some chaeto.

Think I should just let it sit longer or should I add a few more snails and maybe fish?

Picked up this “frag” tank yesterday because it was a screamin deal.
Looking to trade some other stuff to finally get a frag tank set up.

It’ll be weird when my frag tank is bigger than my display tank [emoji1742]‍[emoji3603]
