On the subject of Fauna Marin, I have had success feeding flesh corals with their LPS pellet. I am rehabilitating a cynarina in my sump and it seems to be responding well to their pellet.

I’ve been using hdpe cutting boards for a few things on my build. They made a great shelf for my sump (using a metal stand) and are perfect for diy controller/power boards. Buying the large 1/2” cutting boards has been more cost effective than buying hdpe sheets.

I use plexi glass about 1/4 thick glued to the screentop of the display tank. I have two 6-inch x 36 in wide glued to the screen frame edges. This helps minimize evaporation but still has the screen to keep fish from jumping as well as the LED lights to directly penetrate the water surface.

Wood dowels, zip ties and a huge variety of brushes with different bristle strengths. Bet my rocks are cleaner than yalls ;p

Hydrogen Peroxide....!!!!!!!! I had OLD TANK SYNDROME and I cleared it all up... slimy, gooey, white stuff under neigth all the rocks and every crack and crevasses ! A massive problem after 26 years of set-up in two tanks on the same system 280 gallons.. With 140 lbs of live rock! Saved me from a 5 day tear down at least and one heck of a lot of work. Now its absolutely pristine to the max.. Way better than even when I set up all up..! Google it... It works like no other!

You should look into getting an Oxydator. Same principles as h2o2 but you don't have to dose every day. No power required. Not always easy to find one but theshrimpfarm.com usually has them in stock.

I was curious, what all are some not super common reefing products that you have used or recommend? We always see people mentioning big name brands, but what are some smaller companies that you like. For example, I like PNS probio and products, but they are not as common as bacterial products from big name companies. This could be lights, food, additives, etc.

Those turkey basters from the supermarket are great for acclimating fish/inverts.
