Nitrates 1 nitrites 0 ammonia 0 phosphates .06 calcium 425 alkalinity 10.2I would still watch parameters.
What type of lighting are you using if you dont mind me asking125 6 foot long
Doesn't your Gfo run counter productive to your algae scrubber?8 hours a day 16 hours of light on my algea scrubber two screens clean one a week the other the next week no protienskimmer running charcoal and gfo . About 7 table spoons of each per 2 weeks. Soon as my phosphates hit .03 I will cut back on gfo.
I'm just over 2 yearsIt’s a good system if done correctly.
I believe member PaulB has run one for more than 4 decades.
That is spectacular, very nice I hope mine look half that good in 5 years
My rock was high in saturated phosphates the scrubber was bringing it down like .02 every week and if I feed any flake food that took the.02 drop away so I decided to get some rowa never again when it is gone .no more rowa for me. Going back to phosgaurd. Any way tank started out at .76 phosphate algea scubber brought it down to .36 on its own .put in what phosgaurd i had took it to .16 over a week then started rowa nasty dirty stuff. But I am at .06 and algea on scubber looks alot better no nasty slim just green turf. That is a good point think I will take gfo out and see what happens now.Doesn't your Gfo run counter productive to your algae scrubber?
