This tank is at Sam's Pampered Pets in Belle River, Ontario, Canada. Pictures do not do this tank justice.

...I think I might just have to start a new tank soon! I love this idea and think it could be used to make some very unique and awesome tanks :D

Any chance you could post a link or something to his tank, I would love to see more of it

I don't think he has it posted anywhere. I actually posted the pics of his 2 tanks. We usually visit his store on Sunday mornings and I usually spend about an hour staring at his tanks and seeing the little changes he makes. I'll try and get a video of it this weekend.

Here is the original thread I posted. I think I might have a couple videos of his tank on my phone. I'll try and upload them.https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/sams-pampered-pets.271967/

I saw the skull covered in meteor shower too, and thought it was too cool.
So i decided to make my own. Currently, it is covered down to the cheak bones. Soon i will remove the frag i started it with on top of the skull so that it doesn't

look like the skull is wearing some weird sombrero lol....

By the way, the skull is a bit smaller than a baseball.
So it stands out, thus could be used as a show piece if arranged correctly in the water box.

My 2 cents

Newbie question... how long did this take?

Newbie question... how long did this take?
A year, but im sure it could grow faster because my parameters were not the best. In that year, i had been tweaking my parameters to get them where i wanted them. I was also experimenting with more feedig and flow patterns.
I also had a wrasse that constantly flipped the skull over and over again searching for food under neath. And we all know that if a coral is bothered, it stresses and grows not as fast.
The wrass is gone now, so im hoping the skull will get completely covered in 3-6 more months.
Cheers.

I think the skull thing is cornbreads

What can the skulls be made out of? Ceramic? Glass? And where can you buy stuff like that?

Yes all of the above I think prolly get them at the big box pet stores or anywhere little trinkets like that are sold I think I would cover them in a krylon clear coat just in case though
