They put a box of fish/corals I bought in the freezer. Corals made it, fish did not.![]()
I have literally watched the usps person drive to my mailbox then just keep on going instead of them getting out to deliver my package. I’ve even tried to run after them to ask about it. Then an hour later package status changes to “delivery attempted, no one home”. On packages that say no signature ok to leave. LoLBecause I order most stuff online, my UPS guy and I are on good terms. He sets my stuff aside in his truck so it doesn't get broken, and I tip him well around the holidays.
What is actually the worst for me is USPS. I regret so much that Amazon switched to them from UPS. I pay for Prime service, 2 day shipping, ect... For deliveries on Sunday it comes from a different post office with drivers from all over. More than a dozen times my package was "Out For Delivery" but suddenly could not be delivered due to "weather" on an 80 degree, sunny day. And it's only Amazon packages that are delivered Sundays. They don't seem to get that I pay for that service and delivery privelage. They're also the worst as far as lost packages abd broken items. They took on too much when they signed that deal with Amazon.

Got my delivery. Driver was very apologetic about the runaround I got. He’s always very nice. All fish and inverts survived. Phew!In a fun twist, my two fish shipments got delayed at the UPS air hub in Kentucky this morning. They made it to Philadelphia and then on to my local hub in West Chester by 9:45A. Got a few notices from UPS... first that they wouldn't get here by 10:30, but would get here today. Then, they'll get here but not until the end of the day. Then, they may not get delivered today.
All the while, UPS.com shows them sitting at the depot in West Chester. I get in touch with UPS and said, I'll just come there and get the boxes. They said fine so I started my 45 minute drive there. I get there to find out they put them on a truck and they're heading to my house.:mad: I needed to call and cancel my customer pickup or he won't deliver them. After some fun with the UPS automated system, I think it is fixed.
I'm now back home waiting for the delivery to hopefully arrive.
I didn’t read all the post...but in the northeast I feel like ups stinks for over night packages. On the other hand fedex express is on point over here!
Not for me ..have an order from battlecorals sitting in Jamaica queens .. was over nighted made it to Newark NJ at 530 am . You would think being only hour and half from where I live on Long Island it would make it here . So I’m waiting around for updates . Makes it to Jamaica Queens at 1130 ok great that’s about an hour to me . Proceeds to sit there all day even to this minute 953 pm it hasn’t moved . Suppose to pick it up at 10am tomorrow guess we will see .. I’m expecting everything to arrive DOA
I sold a $250 skimmer a year back on fleabay and shipped it via USPS. Never again. It arrived to my buyer in a million pieces and the box looked like it was dragged behind the truck. You better bet I was in the Post Office the same day filing my insurance claim.
Literally just bought a skimmer that arrived shattered. Did USPS claim go smoothly

Yeah, I can see that happening frequentl. I wish fedex gave employees more time to make direct contact with all its costumers. This must be a regional thing.
UPS in my town is always on time or early. FedEx here is either late or can't make the delivery. In which case 2 hours after the delivery time I'll get a notification asking me to pick up the package at their facility.
I guess the other weird thing is the drivers here knock twice and jump back into the truck. No interaction ever.
