Vitamin C dosing for zoanthids (I am clueless)

Thanks! That is my feeling also. I will definitely read up some more from those that dose both. I will most likely reduce vodka and increase vitamin C weekly and see how it goes.

I think that is too high a dose. I am using a lil less than that on my 15g frag tank. Do you have a skimmer on there? If not, I don't suggest dosing.

It's great to see folks are still following this thread! I found much better PE, color & growth on my SPS, especially my Montipora danaes (which is the majority of SPS I keep). Sorry, no B/A pics of those.

I personally have a 40 gallon breeder and dose Brightwell Aquatics Vitamin C I do 10ml every Tuesday and my Zoas are extremely healthy and I have no words to explain how much more color they have then when I wasnt

Do you run carbon on your tanks? if so, did you have to take it out?

I dont personally run carbon on my tank I do leave the skimmer on though but my corals seem to love it I can see a big difference between the corals in my 40 gallon and the corals in my 120

So you are not dosing this on your 120?

yes thats the correct stuff I only dose my frag tank I know it sounds stupid lol I would love to dose my 120 also I just wish they made it in gallons lol

I just started dosing, i am also only dosing my frag tank as well. It says on there to dose weekly 20ml per 20g for first four weeks, are you dosing weekly as well or just adding drops per day?

I really don't see how you can see much of a difference dosing 1x/week with the Kent's liquid. That is so small of an amount compared to what I an dosing at ~9,000mg, 2x/day in my 100g system.

Isnt it different than what you are using? I was looking at your posts about dosing as well and thought the same thing...

I am using a teaspoon of pure, sodium ascorbate crystals, added 2x/day, at the level of 23ppm or ~9,000mg. If you're using the Kent VC, look at how much is in that whole bottle.

So these 2 are just about the same and i would need to dose same amount? I was hoping to be able to not dose everyday since just in case some days i wont be home or i forget :/
