Vitamin C dosing in qt and reef?

I just asked my source of vitamin c, he told me it's ascorbic acid powder, not sodium ascorbate. Is that fine? Does it change the dosage?

If you continue to read its mentioned "I was able to find any reference to using ascorbic acid or Vitamin C to Combat Amyloodinium ocellatum" and no unfortunately it won't work. Its similar to people telling you take vitamin C to cure your flu, also won't work. Although it might help.

Yes, I did read it. Well maybe it might help in curing with meds. As it might boost the immune system. I have ascorbic acid, not not sodium ascorbate. Will that be an issue?

It should be fine, just measure pH before and after dosage to ensure it doesn't swing.

This is the second week of 250mg ascorbic acid which I dose on Tuesday and Fridays. Will be checking for alk on Friday or saturdY. This I bump up the dose to 500mg from next week?

Depends on your tank parameters, when you dose it check your ph and alkalinity and make sure ph doesnt start dropping. Make sure your alkalinity is a bit on the high side, ~10, to ensure it properly neutralize the acidity. You can then dose 500 mg and see how it effects those parameters.
