I would consider adding granular activated carbon to a med to high flow area of the tank sump.Nothing of the sort
You've got some snotty ugly phase stuff going on. Might help pull that stuff out.

I almost grabbed some the other day but opted out thought it was too early for that stuff but i suppose its worth a shot because there is definitely some ugly going on.I would consider adding granular activated carbon to a med to high flow area of the tank sump.

Yea. That seems to be the consensus.Just so im sure lol 20 white and 40 blue? Appreciate all the help
Check out shaddowolfs thread. He's kinda euphyllia obsessed.Nitrates hang steady between 2-5 using red sea test kit and phosphates are showing .25 with api. I will give the light percentages a shot and see what happens. I had a 55g a few years back and a few easy corals nothing more than some zoas and gsp but im going for full mixed reef this time around. I have definitely learned alot from this site already.
How about chemipure elite with the gfo in it?Check out shaddowolfs thread. He's kinda euphyllia obsessed.
Oh with the po4 at .25 run the test again. It's like the API error code. Maybe consider a splash of gfo or a combo like purigen.
Yep. It has a carbon to I believe. How about chemipure elite with the gfo in it?
Sweet ill give that a shot...thanks for the advice.Yep. It has a carbon to I believe.
My personal preference is to use gfo and carbon to controll the gfo dose. But a LOT of people swear but the combos
Your welcome. Def check in and let us all know what happensSweet ill give that a shot...thanks for the advice.
I run a pair of vivaspectra at 1% white 40% blue..Its a Viparspectra and its about 12 inches off the water. Tank is a 40breeder about 18 inches deep i think.
On what tank at what heith.I run a pair of vivaspectra at 1% white 40% blue..
8", , 55gal mix reef.On what tank at what heith.
Yea. That's prob about 300 par or so at the top. Could be a bit more. The lenses push it into the tank nicely too and its falloff at the bottom isn't as fast like a t5.8", , 55gal mix reef.
Picture?8", , 55gal mix reef.
I have never actually measured the par. I noticed that when my blue hits 43% my palys closed up a bit, and acro doesn't look happy. Nems also not fully extended. 40% seems to be a happy level. My Duncan, hammer and frogspawn are on the sand bed. My torch is 1/3 of the way up.Yea. That's prob about 300 par or so at the top. Could be a bit more. The thing about some of the new Bb's like vitaspar and mars is the blue is kinda dirty, meaning it's got a fairly broad spectral range, still mostly above 500 Nm, but there's a bit other stuff in to too. Kinda like kessil blue only. That's the logic thing they talk about.
Yea it's just a guesstimate.I have never actually measured the par. I noticed that when my blue hits 43% my palys closed up a bit, and acro doesn't look happy. What's Bb?
