Please dont shock your fish. After all your talk about wanting to save your fish and wanting to do everything you can to do just that, I dont see how this is an option. Try the trap. I gotta point out, also, that if you really wanted to you would find a way to get that rock out, or moved out of the way so you could net the fish. Where there is a will, there is a way.

I've used two nets before. One to keep them from getting into the rocks and to herd them towards the other net. Good luck.

I've used bird netting to divide the tank in half, then got the fish to swim into the netting and pulled theme out. I've caught my powder blue twice this way out of my 180 full of sps colonies

I'm suddenly doubting the seriousness of this whole thing. Seriously...fishing and shocking your fish are the first two options!?!?

Nothing wrong with fishing if using a barb less hook

I have heard of fishing with a barbless hook. The shocking the fish is what got to me. No way, no how

OK looks like it's going to be this weekend project removing rocks . Lucky enough these blue zoo fish are very resilient.

OK saved 3 fish would have been 4 but the Potter's jumped when I tried to get him in the net and died the next day with a big bruse on the side he landed on. Going fallow then add corals sweet. Best thing I saved my fave. This guy.

Glad to hear you save some of your life stock but the best thing is QUARANTINE next time, for the love of your fish!

^^ Agreed. Take this opportunity to "wipe the slate clean" and just start over. Don't kill fish for 20-25 years (like I did) before you learn your lesson.
