Quick update... There has been some very strange, infrequent behavior since the update for us. I thought it was hardware, but it may actually be more firmware issues.
While not as terrible as the other kill your tank bug, this one does it slowly. It becomes unable to rotate, and ends up not actually dosing (but logging it as if it did). Since it's so quiet, I was not able to figure this out until I dropped ~2 dKH. Neptune support is all over it, so hopefully this doesn't bite too many of you... But, if it does, I was able to come up with a workaround.
The issue fixes itself when the doser is power cycled (literally just unplugged and plugged back in again). So, I wrote a program to generate a program to turn off the doser 3 minutes before every other dose for 1 minute. This seemed to keep things working pretty reliably. If any of you update to the new firmware and see this, I can generate the apex code for you if you send me a screenshot of your dosing interval (or you can type the 50+ lines in manually if you prefer lol).
