Thank you for telling me this. I’m a newish T5 user and it’s almost time for me to replace my bulbs and I never knew they weren’t allowed to go in the garbage.

I would just report it if it’s the same person that will not stop — that is ridiculous that they would keep at it like that. I have blocked that member b/c I decided I don’t want to engage w/them. What odd and intolerable behavior.

IMO was worth mentioning in case it happens to others, if it’s still the same subject. And honestly seems pretty desperate given that I assume that person was thread banned. That’s why I say I odd behavior — I would be really uncomfortable if it was me lol.

So if it comes out that this is an algaecide then I believe that means in Canada at least, it wont be available for fish stores to sell it, which would be a huge market loss.

I just realized you're right. I thought I saw API Algaefix up here but come to think of it I think I only saw links to Canadian sites like Walmart. I just clicked on the Walmart link and it says "not sold in my area". When did this happen? I don't use algaecides in my tank so haven't ever purchased any but I thought I remember seeing this in the stores at one time but I could be wrong. Out of curiosity can it be purchased anywhere in Canada (like pool supply places or pond supply places)? You're right about the market loss.

But didn't I read in one of these comments that it was created by the company founder? How could they be duped if that's true? If it's true then claiming that really makes them look bad or naive thinking that would be believed or both. Maybe I read the comment wrong or it is another product that was discussed.

I do that when my arm is in the tank for something. The problem is, if I see, say, 15 bubbles, maybe 5 of them are in a spot I can actually get at and there's probably another dozen in places I can't even see them.

My urchin does a decent job of keeping them in check. They're not actually a problem, I just worry about coming home one day to find hundreds of them.

Someone needs to engineer a really narrow urchin and a tiny micro sized one so I can keep it in my 5g. I think they're so cute!
