Currently I have some mixed feelings about these two brands. I've been seeing videos left and right about these two companies. Which are the pros and cons of each Brand?

Innovative Marine and Cade are well known major players. Fiji Cube is more budget and I don't know much about Nyos but they have a new Opus G2 line of tanks that looked interesting.

Do you have preferences? IE size, AIO, Sump, internal/external overflow, stand style, stand material, rimless, eurobraced, etc...That might help to narrow down your choices. Oh yeah...and BUDGET.

Can’t speak for waterbox I hear great things. I have an old max s400 Red Sea I bought used and it’s awesome . Made reefing as a beginner very simple

Thank you for your feedback, but I don't really have a preference as I just got into the fish hobby. Looks pretty fun!

What size tank? Plenty of options out there without paying Samsung or Apple prices.

hmm I'll definitely look into that, quick question about the red sea, how are the plumbing? is it easy to understand?

I saved up some money and I'm deciding a 100 gallon size
Sump or no? Stand needed?

Can get an aqueon tank for a fraction of the price. Stands can be built.

If looking for a package deal that looks top notch glasscages.com is highly recommended.

Also, check availability. Some places have been on back order.

As someone who has had a tank for a number of years the setup is the fun part. Don't rob yourself with a package deal. Just my 2 cents.

I would need a sump, and a minimalistic stand design. Do you think getting a G2 red sea would be a great choice? Looks pretty good, with its pump systems and stand design.

What brand is your tank? or is it custom?

I have a 90g aqueon tank. Mounted in living room wall, installed inside the closet of the adjacent room. Built my own stand with 2x4's and plywood.

Coming up on 5 or 6 years old now.

I love my waterbox. It’s a 65.4 AIO that got me into the hobby. After 2 years I wanted my big upgrade and went with Planet Aquariums. Mostly because I got a great deal on it with my LFS, because otherwise I might have gone with Glass Cages. Like I said I love my waterbox, but I was not gonna spend many thousands of dollars more just because.

As for Red Sea, I’ve never had one but agree they are nice looking tanks. But I would definitely do some Red Sea research here on reef to reef first.

I second this, I'm on my 3rd, no 4th build now. I came home from work and went straight down stairs and went to work on my plumbing. Nothing compares to building your own setup. The design, research and picking out everything and when complete you will smile every time you look at your masterpiece.
