Hi @twilliard How many total days did you dose the MetroPlex equivilant? Have you looked under a scope recently to see if any dinos remain in the water?
We all hate them, Dinos! I have a cure...

I don't want to say it wrong but Big T said he's not using seachem metroplex but seachem makes a version of what he's using I think it's like two pages back. And then he posted the pic of metro.

I dosed 3 days in a row
Here is the thing about using this medication, it doesn't kill them it stops their reproduction at the DNA level.
They are still active under the microscope but have a short lifespan from what I am seeing. I will know more at 14 days.
I am not using that specifically but I am using the exact ingredient as in metroplex
he is using people grade metronidazole. not seachem's.
to put it in practical application. mg per day and how it was administered will help us translate to an easily obtained metro.
this probably adds credence to the 15 day application.

I will be getting some tomorrow starting to see some I don't know where there are coming from I think they where in my sump and the flow to my sump was changed so they got sucked into the Dt.

Twilliard, I was just looking at some info on the metroplex and I know that's not what your using but they do to remove all inverts when using the product. As you probably know it contains Metronidazole and Excipients. I'm couroius why seachem would say to remove the inverts. Im no chemistry major either, lol and I know you have inverts and fish in there. Have you any different behavior or death from either of the fish or inverts? I'm really liking where your going with this and totally respect you and your efforts on this topic. Way to go above and beyond brotha

With what I am using there is no adverse reactions with any of the tank mates.
