All you silly gooses make me LOL. You pay ridiculous prices for amazing looking corals then cry wolf when you think you've been wronged. Do your homework before you make a purchase. If you buy a mega money coral be prepared for it to not be the right coral. It happens that's why it's called life. If you don't want to be wronged don't buy something so expensive. :drum:

So we don't have a right to even grumble if we spend any amount of cash on something then find out Its a knock off or fake?

Bravo man, you win the award for lamest post in this thread

Yep exactly. So while there is a large group of people who just want nice corals and don't want to pay premium prices. There are a small minority who do, which is why lineage is important to some people. There are those that have that collectors mentality **cough** I'm one of them **cough** and others don't.

I agree, while I find myself buying anything that tickles my fancy I do want lineage on any piece that demands a high price tag. Kind of like buying a dog as mentioned in a previous post.

hybirdazn I am a chick not a dude get it right lol. Don't care at all if it was the "lamest" post here, but it must be factual in part as you are crying about it. Buying coral is about the same as playing the lotto in some cases. Maybe you really bought the name brand coral just like maybe you bought the winning lotto ticket and maybe you didn't.

well this went downhill fast!

Watch slinging the fake accusations

Wheres the proof about a fake bpc. I remember the thread well and could post it if you would like

And since this isn't a feedback thread why don't you post up the other vendors selling "fake" corals. Instead of always being the first to try and bash mike for some reason

I am a newbie here but read the whole thread. I am never scared to spend money on R2R because some posters here will go out of thheir way to identify a fake coral. Irather support a poster who questions the origin of coral then the poster who just follows because it was sold from a vendor. Mistakes happen. Sometimes vendor makes mistake sometimes us reefers makes mistakes.

I saw couple posters commenting on coral BPC color. I wondered why.

But still its good to see for sale threads with a little skepticism. Its not called accusing anybody. If some one know how the real coral looks like he should not be scared to speak up. Even if it means being accused of accusations.

I count on you guys and your knowledge to protect newbies who are just starting out. Also Rev is amazing, anywhere else this thread will be toast.

All in all I am very happy to be here. Some genuine posters who will put their name on line to protect strangers.

Unfortunately showing skepticism in a for sale thread is against the rules as well as questioning authenticity. Those comments are removed quickly. The unfortunate thing is that it is almost always the newer reefers that get caught by these things and then threads like this have to be created.

A little more leniency might save headaches in the long run.

Sorry I didnt know that questioning the authencity of coral is not allowed. So if everyone can see a fake coral being sold we cant do anything. I guess its correct buyers have to be cautious.

You can question it, but just not in the for sale thread. You can make a post in another part of the forum and ask for opinions.
