Going out to the lagoons to get some more invertebrates for snacks for the fish!

Will start with making water tomorrow, heat up, and aeration...clean rock, clean coral and sandbed.....add new water...toss old water on coconut palm, clean glass and be done.

Nice! I'm a native New Yorker myself. A city boy, but I spent a lot of time out on the island. Mostly Suffolk, though.

Nice. I just got done breaking in my new skimmer and it is pulling out some nice, thick nastiness.

Funny how we describe the nasty poop smell gunk as nice .

cleaning my skimmer I always end up with the gunk up above my wrist .
a sure way to empty the house is to empty the collection cup container in the kitchen sink.

Yeah, my wife hates that and gets upset if I do it when she's home.

I only do it when she irritates me .
Other times I’ll dump it in the toilet

the skimmer is a mrc ,
After the collection cup at the top the gunk flows into another container on the floor . Which takes a few weeks to fill .
