Cool cool. Yeah, I'm refilling my RO/DI storage and mixing up a fresh batch of SW now, too. Weekly 25 gal WC manana.Doing a partial sand cleaning and add some more sand then a small water change (20gal).
Yup, I have a bucket of socks ready for the washer myself. I did my annual sump clean out a few weeks ago. If you haven't already, you should invest in a mini shop vac that attaches to 5 gallon buckets. I picked a Craftsman one up from Home Depot and it has been a game changer.washing my filter socks and cleaning out my detritus infested sump.. my nitrates and phosphates keep bottoming out and probably due to all that’s trapped down there(and of course corals growing meaning more consumption)
I call them all wrassholes all the time! Especially Liberace/Jaws.. whatever you wanna call him.And when you get annoyed at it or if it starts churning up trouble you can call it a wrassehole![]()

I haven't done it in awhile, and added flood sensors as an added fail safe. Still, I'm an idiot and I know that it is just a matter of time before I do it again.I have flooded my kitchen once with rodi
Forgot to turn the water off . Woke up at 4:30 am to get coffee before work and stepped in 3” of water on the floor .
Not a good start to say the least .
If all it takes is a water spill or forgetting on makes someone an idiot I think we are all guilty of at least once .I haven't done it in awhile, and added flood sensors as an added fail safe. Still, I'm an idiot and I know that it is just a matter of time before I do it again.
