I can actually see about half of the rear tank now that I scrapes off about 6+ months of coralline algae growth.

isn’t that just for copper? i was told GFO also leeches that from time to time so it could be the cause for me.. unless the algae wafers i’m feeding have some in it

What’s new in my tank? My tank! I finally did my first ever real build from scratch.

New tank, sump, and plumbing! A literal dream come true.

The cabinetry is next on the to do list.

yes, but i dont have a lot that are fragging size at the moment, ie the selection is limited. The same 4 day power outage that damaged some and ticked off all of the acros in my frag system, killed almost all of the acros in my display tank where most of my larger colonies were.

I installed a wireless camera that points towards my tank so I can see how it looks remotely.

Been thinking about doing this as well, any camera recommendations? Is it expensive?

Wyze Cam Plus. Inexpensive and easy to use

No, I went with an Eufy on Amazon. $50. Great clarity, color video, night vision. It’s awesome. My fish room is in the basement so I can check on it from anywhere in the house.

You can subscribe to $19.95 annual plan which has cloud storage and monitoring.

Only if you want to record/store the video, which I don’t. You could also save it to a SIM card as well.
