I want to know what the community considers to be there overall favourite light specifically for growing corals. Thanks.

The reefbreeders photons are all basically the same light but with more light groups for longer tanks. And you left out mine, the photon 48 :)

But it’s all the same layout and spectrum and capability. A photon 32 overs 40 breeder is the same as a photon 48 over my 75

Noopsyche grew everything well in my 180g mixed reef. They did so well I moved them all over to my new tank. Great bang for the buck lights. I have gen4 xr15s which are supposed to be stronger than the gen 5 and 6 or so I've read. The K7 smoke them in a par test. Not to mention it sucks waking up at 3 am to find the lights blasting because mobius changed time and date again. :confounded-face:

I love my photons also. I think the panel layout vs Pucks give better spread and a lot less light spill.

Wont be surprised if the entire post gets removed….

I made a post complaining about mobius and the fact they have never fixed the time and date issue. It got moved to vendor forum so no one would see it. Oh I'm sure ecotech saw it and immediately set to work for a fix on a problem that has been on going for a few years. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

ReeFi Uno 2.0 Pro’s.

At risk of getting banned/muted/etc, I’m gonna say it anyway. The forum owner is tight knit with BRS….

I'm not sure if I'd call the Nicrew lights 'generic black box' at this point but I suppose it fits. I have three of these lights with good results, and they fit my budget.

I like Maxspect as the have the option to present real life lighting with all leds on 100%. I hate the psychedelic blues with exaggerated coral colors. Problem is that after a power break you need to refresh by opening the program if not you may wake up at midnight with all lights on.

Reefbreeders still has the same light listed multiple ways and is missing the photon 48 lol I can’t vote

I run 2 photon 50's on my ext 170 and 3 xr15's on my ext 50.
Photons are my preferred light but I had 5 xr15 gen 5 blues from another build so I used them on the 50.
The photons are par monsters for sure.

While I voted I hesitate to say which lights I have, as it seems the follow up poll will be "Which subject is the most contentious in reefing" with lighting being the defacto winner. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
