What’s your favourite light?

People get very opinionated about which specific light they have from each brand so I figured setting the pole up this way would help avoid some complaints…

Gotcha. This is a pretty touch subject to poll I think. Just too many choices. I can't vote because multiple votes are not an option. I have 6 K7s over one tank, 2 photon 32s over another, a photon 24 on one an a gen4 xr15 on an observation QT.

Noopsyche grew everything well in my 180g mixed reef. They did so well I moved them all over to my new tank. Great bang for the buck lights. I have gen4 xr15s which are supposed to be stronger than the gen 5 and 6 or so I've read. The K7 smoke them in a par test. Not to mention it sucks waking up at 3 am to find the lights blasting because mobius changed time and date again.

I love my photons also. I think the panel layout vs Pucks give better spread and a lot less light spill.

How is the customer service with noopsyche?

I needed some new x brackets a while back and @Zach B took care of me. I've read of it not being great at times but have no first hand experience with noopsyche themselves CS.

Still, not a bad poll since you lumped Halides and they are the only lights that truly match the spectrum of our Sun, probably any sun now that I think about it? Halides are like Chuck Norris walking into a room. It's much brighter and about to light up even more,

Metal Halides with a yellow bulb will grow coral the fastest. They are the best at growing corals. Easy answer!
