Mostly good growth, IMO at least
We've had KH at those levels for many years, in many tanks. Had some burned corals when raised the KH a couple of years back. After that I like to stay at 6,5-7,5 dKH.

You take the sulfur reactor offline? Or you take it off completely and then set it up again later when you need? Doesn’t it take forever to re-cycle? Mine took about 2-2.5 months to begin working (too dang well)

You take the sulfur reactor offline? Or you take it off completely and then set it up again later when you need? Doesn’t it take forever to re-cycle? Mine took about 2-2.5 months to begin working (too dang well)

Mines tiny 6"dia x 11". 7-12 days from 20PPM down to 5ppm. Put away till needed. When I restart let for 2hrs flow out(effluent) of 1/4 hose,OVER AIR BUBBLES, then set to low stream, not trickle, no issue for me.

I tried to follow the redsea recommended numbers but the following numbers are have been stable over the last 2 months so Ill keep them there. Mixed reef 9 months old.

Everything seems happy so I will keep these going. One thing I have been wondering is why redsea recommends such high Alk when the average of reefers is much lower? Am I wasint money dosing this much Alk?

From my research the red sea program is based on getting optimum coral growth. I used there program for a few months in the past with higher alk and calcium Levels and I always had the problem of keeping my levels that high, I used a ton of calcium and all just to maintain. I now keep them at the ati recommended levels which is more like natural sea water and since then the problem went away
