Mustroom, Leathers, Zenia and GSP. All great beginner items and hardy as hell, but once in a tank there forever. Mushrooms especially.

Online buying when it's not WYSIWYG. Whether it be retailers or private individuals...... "Buy this frag, it's a large 10 polyp+ frag." It arrives and you have to pull out a magnifine glass to even see the polyps.

How about people who commit to buying something from you weeks in advance at an upcoming swap, and then 2 days before, cancel on you, leaving you almost no time to find another buyer?

Crap like this falls into my #1. People who say they are going to purchase something and then never follow through ... it really irritates me! At least they had the common courtesy to cancel rather than never showing up :crossedlips:

I'll take what they reserved, but I want a deeper discount

1.Backing out buyers who you hold something for for a LONG time and they have no excuse,that is legit.
secondary number 1- Scratches on a tank. I notice scratches from across the room,even hairline scratches bother me. I do not know why,but it REALLy bothers me.
2. When family comes over and points out a patch of macro algae as their favorite coral in the tank. After I gave the everything is alive speech(I have real coral in the tank too)
3. When fw tank keepers get mad because you tell them they can not keep a coral,not getting the fact corals need saltwater...
4.When you come home to see your favorite coral,or a sold coral burned by a misc. thing -sand,corals,anemone,etc.
5.Knocking a coral off a rock and the coral shatters. My prized monti colony woops,fall 3 inches,shatter. Anyone want 700 1/8 in. frags?
6.Tangs that do not eat algae that are suppose to. Usually the only tang in the tank with algae issues.
7.Sponges and weird algaes that only grow around your favorite corals and stunt their growth
8.Trickling water,hard to get rid of in this hobby
9.The gulp noise your over flow makes every now and then

Fw hobbyists actually thought that they can keep coral?!!? Lol I could just see some polyps being circled by goldfish in a bowl.

Yes. I was at my lfs and a fw woman,with goldfish in a bag in hand, walked over to the coral tank and said what is that neat thing? the owner says a gonipora, she says ill take it-it would be neat to have something red and flowy in my goldfish tank,then the owner had to discuss why she couldnt have it,then they got busy so the convo got turned over to me,it was hard for her to take in the fact goldfish and goni do not go together...lol

Keeping my top off tank full is my biggest pet peeve! I get so upset when I can hear the pump running and no water is being pumped out cause the tank is empty!

Blue or black? I guess it depends on the rock work, I have it stacked high on the back wall with a small colony size monti cap on top, circled by some other nice sps mini colonies. It looks pretty cool. I will scrape a little agae off of the glass the take a pic.
