What brands do you use for dosing your reef tanks?

I bought an analytical balance and I buy chemicals on-line and simply make up my own stock: K, Fe, I, Mo, Mn, Sr. I use kalkwasser reactor and a CO2 reactor.

For continuous duty; EcoTech Versa (best unless you're using it to pump up from the floor below, in which case the hoses WILL leak at the joints). DOS: has been reliable, but noisy and too big. Worst; Kamoer X1 Pro T, can't get replacement tubing anywhere. The application is horrible and requires a password change every few weeks.

Small doses; Red Sea reefdose 4 head pump has worked well for me. The app is wonky and takes time to load. You have to click save multiple times to confirm changes and make sure that they've actually changed, which takes time. If you don't pay attention, it won't change half the time. I also use an old jebao 4 head pump without problems for years. I only use these pumps for non-essential things in the short term like NO3/PO4, aminos, and AFR in a small system.

Do you mean CO2 scrubber? Or is this a calcium reactor that uses a tank of CO2? I'm assuming the latter.

I really want some Versas. Their price point has made it a wishlist item for me though unfortunately.

I've considered them for small SAWC (semi automatic where I engage it on some schedule). Any thoughts on that application? Apologies for a slight derailing of dosing, maybe small auto WC are considered dosing as well?

It depends on the age/size of your system. I run it from day one on new systems

Daily start dosing: 0.5ml / 100l.
Maximal dosing 6ml / 100l

This is where I started and work up based on the mag/K numbers.

On my 45, total 60g's, frag system I run 3ml a day. Tanks 3 years old.

On my 80, total 120 I run 7ml a day. Tanks 6 months now.

This keeps my mag at 1350 and K at 410. These are the 2 I can test for. It has worked well for 6+ years now.

45 is 2 part and 80 is a carx.

I recently switched to the modern reefing proportional consumption method and couldn’t be happier. The “baling” itself contains both traces, aminos etc and you round it out with polypop for color/PE and the food for additional nutrition.

What I really like is that everything is based of KH consumption so it takes out the guesswork in dosing food for example (I hate adding arbitrary amounts of stuff based on nothing) and everything can be automated easily. My kh-director tests the kh and adjusts the doses of all additions to the tank automatically

At face value it’s probably the most expensive baling there is but since it cuts out the need for a bunch of extra stuff I suspect it works out to about the same cost as other methods.

The only annoying thing is that you can’t really run it simultaneously as for example kalk as that will throw of the addition of elements.
Taking my kalk offline made my overnight ph drop from 8.3 to about 8 and I prefer it to not drop below 8.3 so now I run a Co2 scrubber which does add some cost.

out of my products i likr the most is red sea i also like phose-e for reduvction of phosphate-e by brightwell to lower Phosphate 1 - 2 cap fulls it drops in a couple of hours

It seems that I have a bit more growth. Colors are kind of crap as the tank was hit by an iodine spike some time back but they are slowly coming back.
The most positive result so far is the simplicity.
