Acropora Sarmentosa, this is my old colony, they are a slow grower, but I like the dense growth formation. I have only bought wild colonies, but they are pretty hardy once established. The last image is my newer colony, it was 3 days in transit but it made it and is recovering.

Definitely one of my favorite Acro species.

This is my favorite in my tank. A little Carribean Rose coral that appeared out of nowhere as a tiny glowing dot. I really like the look and pretty colors of some of the SPS corals but I am just not ready for that jump.

Wow! Does this piece have a name?

No it don’t I got it about 5 yrs ago from a good friend never seen it anywhere else. Would love to get it back. I will be calling my friend to see if he still has his after I deal with this algae problem I’m have with my restart.

That's what I've been calling it. It came out of possibly the most famous reefer's(David Grigor) tank here in MN and I think it was a named coral but no idea as to what it was. Some pics of Joe the coral look similar but others are not even close....

I don’t blame you at all. I lost my tank during hurricane sandy and it was really tough. I took down my most recent tank about a year ago too and I miss it everyday
