I'm happy with my 2x AI Prime 16 HD LEDs on my 40 breeder but only keep soft corals so my demands aren't that intense.

I think those would work for some hammers also, would really add to your enjoyment

i was silly enough to buy it anyways( i bought the 2nd hydra and reef brite together from someone selling it)

if i could do it all over again? 2 smarfarm leds with 2-4 populargrow(aliexpress) LED bars. or if money wasn’t an issue: 2 reefi uno 2.0 and 2-4 quanta led bars

My favorite would be the reefbreeders. If money was a concern I would buy the noopsyche all day long. I can get 300 par on the sandbed running them at 70%. I can keep clams alive now. I like the colors I can get with them also.
What I really like about the reefbreeders photon is the fact that it is a panel vs pucks so there isn't all the light spill that you get with a puck style lights. In a canopy it's not an issue but the two tanks I run them on do not have a canopy and one is in the dining room light spill is a concern.

So, I am using t5 on my 90 gallon, aquamax prism 2 led t5 mix on my 55. I am building a 40 breeder frag tank and purchased the viparspectra 165 led for the build. What is your lighting and are you happy with your setup?

VivarSpectra does a good job for its price and size
I run all orphek with 3 noopsyche for added shimmer.

Hamilton Cebu, 2 x 250w Radium's with 4 ATI T 5s. Very happy with it. No more disco ball and shimmer for days.

This is why I haven’t changed away from t5’s
I don’t like the shimmer or night at the disco look

Have you run or seen a tank in person running the Viparspectra 165's and if so do you like the noops better. I just looked them up and am interested

Absolutely. Pictures don’t do it justice. I have tried so many different combos. I love this combo gives me exactly what I need. Love the Kessil but the T-5’s is what finally finished it off. Now I have complete coverage on my tank
