Ok I have this rose bubble tip, it was cool at first, now it's almost 14" across and growing more.
It's about to start stinging half the corals in the tank and there's no slowing it down. The clowns power feed the crap out of it when I feed the other fish.

What can I do with it? I may be able to get the rock it's on out, but cutting it in half is about the only option other than selling right?
What do I think I should do?

Thanks

You can send it to me? HEHE!

Force it to split, then you can keep the smaller piece and give the bigger one to Rev

It's such a gorgeous nem. I would not want to risk harming it by manually splitting it. I would do a tank dedicated to it.

+1 - I secretly want that nem just to have him by himself in my tank. Beautiful, Bella, Gorgeous!!!!! Stunning rbta, your a good mom.

Upgrade thentank for the nem and those tangs. Poor things

My first choice would be to sell it and buy a new smaller one. Cutting it wouldn't be a bad idea either though. BRS just did a great video on anemone propagation where they go over fragging nems. There are plenty of other videos out there too.

Why do anything?... Move what you can around it away and be happy, it is awsume. Most would kill for a big anemone like that..

Second. I would kill for that nem. I wouldnt worry. I saw a tank with two huge rainbows and they were right next to a plating monti. And were there by it for a yr. never hurt it once.

But im sure you will find a long list of people willing to take that off ur hands if u wanted. Lol

Do what will make you happy.

I had the same issue. Mine is around 1' across. And was in my 67 gallon. But I upgraded to a 125g this weekend. So he has a ton of room. But now I have to wait for him to get used to the Halides and LEDs. I would love him to split, but I don't think that it will happen.

So mail it to someone, force it to split or put it in it's own tank?

IMO if you can Find a good home for it i would do so. Dont force anything to split as its a creature of the Sea as well you dont no what it would go threw in order to do so. also i would not Do it your self . ill bee following this thread.! Good luck cant wiat to find out what you do.

Place it in ninja chopping block . I would trade it for what tatuage08 is saying. Sounds like an awesome deal tattoo loves it

It's absolutely beautiful. How long did it take to get to that size?

Ten months. This was when I brought it home

That's the problem, it has a nasty sting to it. It's scaring my purple and green montis, melting The nuclear green palys that it reaches, it stings one of my ricordea shrooms and even melted the left tips off my Hydnophora that it contacted.

All I know is it's damaging corals and it doesn't need to be that large. And I had a lot less to worry about when it was smaller.
