What's going on with my Rbta?

Wow! My pic taking skills are horrrible. Are there certain setting you use on the iPhone

I think this is a little better!

Nem looks OK to me, just stressed for some reason, give it time.

I also have an iPhone 7. I find it best to hold the phone close to the glass as possible and steady hand!

Ok! I'll try that! I haven't had it long so I'm really just starting to play around with the camera on it. Thanks!

The more you use the camera, the better. Avoid zooming, and avoid cropping excessively after the picture is taken. If you take a 12 MP picture and the anemone is a tiny dot in the middle of the photo, cropping the image down to just that tiny dot will be a big pixel or two. ;) You want to fill the frame with the subject, touch the subject to adjust lighting, then take the photo.

All my youtube videos are shot on the iPhone. www.youtube.com/melevsreef

Ok thanks! Yep! I haven't been doing that. The to do stuff u mentioned but have been zooming in and cropping.

And then always check to see how your image appears on the forum after you posted it. You should be able to delete and reupload better pictures. Here's one I took earlier today despite the tank being rather blue. No filter was used.

Are you possibly running gfo and sucking too much phosphate out in relation to nitrates? Are you carbon dosing and if so how much vs total water volume? It's telling you something's is wrong
That's a good possibility , I do run small amount of GFO and I keep my tank really clean , don't over feed , and do a 2.5g water change once a week , at the time I was vinegar dosing ,but have now switched to ALL Aquaforest Products ,and NP Pro and Pro bio s , and I feed the tank reef roids now every couple days as I was thinking maybe my tank is too clean so ive let things go abit , and in the last week he has come out from under the rock and is getting some light now. and the tank looks a lot happier now. so I think your right something was bothering him I guess

Cool. Ive found way more harm then help in the world of fancy label supplements. when in doubt, change filters, do a few large water changes and stop all the nonsense.
