What's going on with my Rbta?

Here's my parameters except phosphate and it's 0.25ppm
 
Parameters look fine. Is that usually what they always are? When did the nem start turning colors and shrinking tentacles?
 
About a week ago! Tanks 1 1/2 yrs old and Params always stay in this vicinity
 
I would stop feeding for a couple of weeks, maybe to an every other small feeding. Chances are it gets daily feedings from when you feed the fish. My experience is with them is they should expel stuff about weekly. Tentacles will vary from the bulbous to long and straight back to bulbous. I do believe yours' looks a little weak, but I also think it is because it is being overfed.

The lighting seems very different in your pictures also. The one when you first got it is very nice. Others look grey.

Nems are strange Creatures, I watched mine closely for almost two months because it shriveled up, got dark, tentacles shank, hide in crevice for days; I was even close to trying to remove it cause I thought it was surely dying, but decided to leave it alone because when it did show itself it was responsive. Lately its been opening up and looking almost as good as new.

I had some look like that due to not acclimating them right, so I'm assuming it was stressed due to different params. After about a week I started feeding mines little little pieces of raw shrimp twice a week, mines are coming back but took about a month.
 
In my experience with them they don't like as much light as some may say. I have 3 in two different tanks. I have one that straight up hides from light most of the time. That tank has a peak par of about 125 at the top of the rocks. 35 at the sand bed. That same anemone I used to feed a few times a week. The tentacles did the same thing as yours. I don't spot feed any of them anymore.

In my other tank I have a dead spot on the glass bottom where all the fish poop collects. It's permanently there eating poop. Unsurprisingly it's changed colors darker because of that. It's also in Lower light.. probably less then 75 par, and happy as can be. It's also in a lower flow area, hence the dead spot.

Personally I wouldn't feed it. Secondly the color difference I have not seen. It could even be something in the water we don't test for. They are pretty sensitive creatures. They will move if they are unhappy. Aside from the color, everything you are describing seems like pretty normal behavior to me.
 
you think that's strange I got a BTA and he looked like your first pic but then I added a kessil light to my setup and my bta moved up to top of the glass on back of the tank, then I couldn't find him for a week n thought he must have died or got eaten, but next day I was changing my gfo in my HOB filter and was rinsing the bag under cold tap water and he fell out of the end of the bag where it ties together, so I quickly put him back in the tank on a rock and now 2 months later hes been under a rock with zero light and is about the size of a pencil eraser and has been for 2 months now. so small I cant even get a pic of him., he used to be big and really colorful , what the heck is his problem? I must have gotten a dud BTA lol

Im not anemone expert but it looks kind of normal to me.

I dont see a gaping mouth. Color looks good. Tentacles are short but normally they do that in the process of expelling waste no?

Are you possibly running gfo and sucking too much phosphate out in relation to nitrates? Are you carbon dosing and if so how much vs total water volume? It's telling you something's is wrong
 
I've found temperature of water to be biggest culprit as it gets warmer in the summer if your doing nothing to cool water and it rises even with the heater off. Thermometers are notoriously inaccurate depending on which you use. Nems don't like temp changes.
 
What are you taking pictures with? These images almost look like paintings. :)

I don't really have any advice to add, it seems like you are in good hands.

I use the same phone, but those pictures look nothing like mine. Maybe skip the pill bottle and turn off your blue lights. Use white lighting instead so we can actually see what is going on. Here's an iPhone 7+ picture I took a few days ago under 20,000K lighting with blue LED super actinics.
