I have two Red Sea reefer (250 and the nano). The 250 I'm using an eshoppes doser and the nano has no doser. So what I want to do is switch the eshoppe doser to the nano tank and buy a new doser for the RedSea reefer 250. So the question is what is the best doser to buy? Also which one is the easiest to use?

Like Jabao they work well and are priced right

Because I hate the heads 98% of dosers have, I ended up going with Drew's dosers. Simple on/off doser with 4 rollers. The average rate is 1.5 ml/min so you can accurately dose and never have to compensate for erratic results, but ya never have to worry about back-siphoning.

GHL are good dosers. Jebao can't be beat, for the price.

GHL Doser 2.
You can pick 2, 3 or 4 heads.
Very quiet, and doses down to .1ml
Easy to calibrate each head, can be programmed via the cloud, easy to setup, and uber reliable.
Also has inputs for GHL magnetic stirrers if needed. And inputs for temp and level sensors.

Do not cheap out on your doser.

Jebao DP-4 is accurate and has been use very widely by many reefers. If something breaks, parts are available with ease.

GHL vs. Jebao? Hands down GLH wins but at 5x the cost so....

+1
GHL Doser 2 hands down for reliability and accuracy. It is easily capable of doing more than just dosing; it does temperature monitoring, ATO/AWC functions, magnetic stirrer capabilities, cloud accessible, app accessible, the list goes on. :)
As Dennis said, don't skimp on a doser. Considering how much money goes into stocking a tank, to rely on a cheap Jebao doser is just asking for trouble. Even at 5x the price, it is better to pay for quality upfront than to risk thousands of dollars in coral just to save a couple hundred dollars.

FWIW, GHL Dosers are now 15% off:

Ok it seems ghl is the one but from all the research I have been doing it seem that they are difficult to use. Is this true? Do they still have a lot of bugs in the software? Also I do not have a controller so would the stand alone be easy to operate?

Well you have options the stand alone has a controller built in or you can get the slave that works off there controller

The Doser 2 does have more features and functions than the average dosing pump, but by no means did I find it difficult to use. Setting up dosing programs is straightforward and the ability to monitor fluid levels is a nice touch.

The early firmware version 1.00 had bugs in it, but now that they are on version 1.20 the software is stable and bug free. GHL is continuously working on their software and firmware so the product will always continue to perform well.

GHL is the way to go easy to use with your phone or with a computer. An tough spend the money and get a doser that works everytime.

Totally the reason I went with drew's.. heh
I had a nightmare of a time with the kore 5th when that came out. Never looked at the dosers with the 7$ plastic heads again.

I use dosers for a lot of different purposes now. They help me keep up with daily , semi daily and weekly task's. I use peristaltic pumps at work to do many task's. So I am doing the same on my tank.:)

After getting a masterflex 4 head unit for water changes amongst my tanks at home, I would love to be able to test/play with the newer units!! :)

Plum xl infusion pumps
That is reliability and precise dosing :)

Should I get a 3 pump or a 4 pump? I have only been dosing alk and ca. I might add mg so what else should I dose?

4 pumps when you new from the 3 to 4 $50.00 different if you buy the 4th head later it's like $90
You can use for ato or regular water changes
