What's wrong with my leather

I dont have devils hands but I would like to get one soon I hear they are more sensitive to things than other leathers. I have a 3 toadstools and they are always super super happy but from time to time one will close up from 2-9days for no apparant reason, then a couple weeks later another will do it. Totally normal for it to do that, and dont worry about asking lots of questions its the reason we're all here to learn and/or help. Now you will know this info for the future and who knows, you may see someones post before others and be able to offer your help. In the end, its the whole reason I come, to learn and then to pass my knowledge on to others when I'm able to. The devils hand looks better from your last pics, hopefully the progress is still going your way!

Yeah it is almost back to normal. I guess it was shedding it has some stuff hanging off it.
I've got another devils hand frag I just bought and it has spots where I think it got stung. The boy I bought the coral from packed 9 different frags in one bag. :-(
I'm just hoping it comes around

Glad your leather is doing well, mine is the same way, gets better after a few days.

you don't really even need to sew or stich softies to anything... most of them are actually pretty resilient. I usually just find a crevice in the rock and wedge em in as tight as I can... after a week or so they're growing to the rock without having to use rubber bend or monofilament or such.
