You guys like to argue huh..

I already stated it proves this: (AND ONLY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
And the only point to this poll was to show there were deaths, post-bayer use.

Wake up..
Here is a poll that is about the same as yours: In the past five years have experienced the death of a person, animal or plant after it was exposed to water?
Yes
No

Wake up people! Water is killing us all!

I don't have the hard facts yet, but from my experience, 100% of people that drink water eventually die...

Think about that!

Actually, it might just be safer to drink the bayer.... I personally don't know anyone who has died who drank bayer

I really wonder who used it first, were they like "crap, I need to dip my coral and all I have is some pesticide outback.....meh better than nothing"? lol

Whisperer in 2011 but on the other forum....

I'm not cherrypicking, that's why I added the opposite side of it with the answer of 'no'. But according to one person here, you're all lying. lol...
And the only point to this poll was to show there were deaths, post-bayer use, YOU are ASSUMING more beyond that. If you're asking for more data, maybe you should make some polls. Especially given the amount of variables.

Cherry picking is not including other popular reef dips, like Coral RX or ReVive.

I think the guy who thought of it was dealing with Red Bugs and was losing the battle till in his last moment of desperation, he used Bayer insecticide because insecticide = kills bugs = Red Bugs. Back then we all thought he was crazy till he actually won, with very little SPS loss. Back then, the standard to kill Red Bugs was that dog heartworm medication Interceptor, which was super hard to get a hold of.

Yeah- wake up people! If you think Bayer is bad, look at Palys! They release palytoxin, and I quote, "considered to be one of the most toxic non-protein substances known...". Palytoxin disrupts sodium and potassium pumps leading to the cell's ultimate death. And guess what? Some of you voluntarily put paly's in your tank. You might think they're safe, but are you sure they're not killing your corals? They disrupt ATPase, which guess what- coral have!

If you don't believe me, I can throw together a poll and see how many people in the last five years lost a coral and of those, how many had palys in their tank? I think you'll find a surprising number of people that have owned palys have had deaths. If you don't believe me, I have tons of wikipedia links about palytoxin, atp, sodium and potassium pumps, and articles on coral bleaching. The facts are all there right in front of your noses...

Simply put, if you put palys in your tank, you might as well just pour bleach in as well. Smh...

Palytoxin will indeed Kill Coral. I have had a Tank Crash because of it (My Own Fault without Realyzing It). So lets tell people not to Keep Proto
