Just bought 2 of these for my 90 mostly LPS with a few SPS. Figure I would put one on each side of the tank. Just don't know what setting to use. Like to see my hammers and torches move but not blow off their skeletons. Thaks for any help

I have one in my 50 gallon. Have it set on else at 75% locked that way when I push feed mode it goes back to its setting. Also use the light sensor so far. Have good flow I have a clam in my tank so it doesn't like to much flow. It's just a trial thing till you get it set to where everyone looks happy.

I just leave it on the setting and when I feed hold the feed button and it goes back to the same setting in about 10 min

Cool thanks, so is one on each side of the 90 the best? And do I aim them at each other or???

I started with Else, then switched to Short pulse, now I use long pulse.

Love, love love the Jebao powerheads.....................So glad I ditched my over expensive Vortechs

I would put them on the side and off set them I only use one on my 57.gallon on the side and it doesn't break the surface

Its because its a power supply/converter. I have one wp25 in my 29 and I'm very happy with it. I'm putting 2 in my 40 I'm building.

I got one off ebay and it was supposed to come with the night sensor but wasn't in the box. Anybody know if I can get such a part at RadioShack or somewhere local?

On mine using the light sensor. If I didn't lock it it would go to the s1 position in the morning. Did the same thing on feed mode the first time but I don't think I went into feed mode right the first time. But one 25 works great in the 50. Pete I think one would be enough for your40.

I bought mine from fish street , it came with a sensor and bought a spare. I've only had mine about 2 weeks. From what I've heard they all come with them. Yes they are very small. Reef Radiance sells them also.

Had to take one of the wp25's out of the 90. Way to much flow no matter what setting. Hammers and torches couldn't even stay open, and the anemone was waving around so much it closed. These things are nice, but I just couldn't get the flow I wanted with 2 of them. Kind of sucks because I was so pumped to have them, and the fact that I bought 2 brand new 2014 versions and no light sensors. Well at least I will have a spare now if one dies.

I have mine about 6" down and about 4" from the back wall pointed slightly upwards and towards the back at 75%. Works pretty good for me. It's strange that they didn't come with sensors. It was only $1.00 for my extra one at fish street.
