Do u dip in anything after you cut?
Do you make sure you get a piece of mouth and foot?

I put them in iodine after cutting for a little. I have always got a piece of the foot but sometimes not the mouth.

No shipping yet, the thing with shipping is I would hate for it to die during transit and local sales have been really easy.

All are growing and healthy. Here’s are some pictures of the last babies (taken about 3 weeks ago) that will be available soon, then for awhile I’ll being growing out the mother.

Haven’t posted an update on the mother mushroom in awhile. Still doing good, alittle bigger than 1.5”, it’s bubbles have recently reduced in size but still healthy.

Great thread. I have to ask, had you been fragging shrooms before you tried it on the OG? I have 2 magic carpet shrooms that are huge (at least 4" across when fully open) and would be scared to death to cut 1 in half.

The OG was my first mushroom that I fragged, was very nervous but ended up going well. For the greatest success cutting these, you want to cut one off with a piece of the mouth and a piece of the foot (I have successfully cut one and raised it without a piece of the mouth though).

Also putting them in a mixture of tank water and iodine after fragging.
