You know its gonna be bad when.....

When you get the first bag of fish inside from the car and the girlfriend is already complaining about you buying more fish... Three more bags to go...
Thats when you hide them inside your coat so she hopefully doesn't see them [emoji6]

When you get this Facebook message from a coworker....

When you have kids and forget to lock your cabinet under the tank and find a toy car sitting on the bottom of your sump ... gonna be a bad day lol

A year and a half ago I bought my very first saltwater inhabitants. They were two Darwin clownfish, I think $30 apiece if I remember. I put them in tank after acclimation and watch them for about 45 seconds before leaving the room to wash my hands. Another 30 seconds later I return to the tank and only see only one clown.

I've been looking for the other ever since!

The breaker kicks, your wife resets it, sees the skimmer going bananas, you forgot to peal the tape off of your sump's old skimmer's water level and you come home to her pouring the last of you kalk water into the sump trying to get the water level up.... true story....

When you wake up and remember you left the rodi on. The quick math as you run down the stairs tells you it overflowed hours again...
Oh man! This very same thing happened to me, I had accidentally left it running for about 8 hours to fill my little 5gl bucket after I forgot it was running and I went to bed for the night....worst part is that we had just laid down brand new wood flooring...was not a good day. I won't soon forget throwing back the blankets and flying down the stairs, thankfully the kids weren't up to see me at my finest that day lol!

What a hoot! My side hurts from laughing so much reading these posts! I can relate to so many of them!

I never have a bad day.............. oh I take that back, when I read something on the forum and I don't agree with it for 100%, worst thing I can't talk about it either, yep that was a bad day. :(

It's 5:30 am. You and the two kids are getting into the car to go catch a flight to grandma's house for two weeks. As you climb in the car, Apex texts you that the temperature is high in your 100 gallon aquarium. You go in and see that the hose to the chiller has come lose and the pump has pumped all the water from the sump onto the floor and the pump is running dry now. You need to fix the hose, make saltwater, fill the sump and tank back up, yet still catch that flight in 90 minutes! You look behind you at the kids who followed you back into the house and see their faces that say it all, "You are so f***ed!"

It's beyond a bad day!

After setting up a 55 gal tank and having my ex wife and I sit down to marvel at my handy work. Wrapping my arm around her and THEN, watching a back seam let go and flood all the water out inside of 5 seconds! That tank ( and my ex) are long gone.

I'm not going to comment on this
