20 gallon long

Dang that post was suppose to say I can't hang them where the aquarium is.

Hmm, you can make a mount for them probably pretty easily and hang them from it

Alright I'll have to check it out. I just bought new bulbs for the t5's but maybe down the road I'll invest in a good set!

what softies did you plan on getting, I'm a huge fan of zoas, I'm addicted to them :p

Could the LED grow any coral? I have one on a planted tank and it's just fine. Finnex Stingray Aquarium LED Light

Yeah LEDs can grow coral pretty well. I'm speaking from experience

Can this LED though? Finnex Stingray Aquarium LED Light

Alright so my HOB refugium and hydor koralia 240's came in this morning! They are now set up! Liking the way it's coming along!!!

I know I'm also going to be rearranging the rock today!

Asterina, some are harmless, others eat coral (rare), I toss them all in the fuge. Just so you know BTW, you're gonna see lots of these.

Alright so everything has now came in and the tank is completely up and running!! Here's some pictures!

2 Hydor Koralia Nano 240's,
Finnex External Refugium Breeder Hang-On Box 1 compartment has chaeto the other 2 live rock,
Aqueon quiet flow 30 I took the carbon filter out and replaced it with Purigen (seachem) and chemipure (Boyd enterprises), a 150w heater, 20-25 pounds live rock, 30 pounds live sand. I've also started dosing with seachem stability which is suppose to almost completely take out the cycling phase of a new tank!

Right now the temp is 78 and the salinity is 1.026. I will test the water when I get home tonight and post numbers then!

I''m glad this is going well for you, starting your tank up really nicely!

Thinking about adding a clean up crew on Saturday if all parameters test well. Do you think that would be ok? Also how long would you suggest to wait on fish? I'm wanting to start with the shrimp/goby pair then the firefish and lastly the two clowns.

Thank you!! I'm really pleased with how smoothly everything's going right now! I know that it could change quickly though lol keeping up on testing the water and ready to do a water change as soon as needed!

Yeah if the params check out get the clean up crew. If they stay stable for a week or if you're nervous two weeks you can get a fish. For the clowns what do you plan on getting? If you're willing to pay a moderate price tag, then I'd look into snowflake clowns, they're super pretty :)
