20 gallon long

I'm planning on getting a pair of black ice clowns! I have a buddy who can get them for $55 a piece!

nice! Those are cool, al; I had were percs, they died recently :( They were my first fish

There's a really awesome fish store an hour away called Franks Tanks and they are having awesome sales this weekend we bought some raffle tickets to win a whole bunch of awesome stuff the biggest prize they have is a 150 gallon drilled tank with custom stand and canopy all the way down to dosing supplies. It's going to be hard to not buy any fish [emoji51] lol

Nice! Oooooh you know what this tank could use, you know what every tank in the world could use, a wrasse! I love wrasses, my favourite type of fish are wrasses! My all gtime favourite fish is a wrasse. I love wrasses!

The only reason I'm hesitant about a wrasse is bc we had a 6 line wrasse in our first tank we had and he started out fine but ended up bullying all our other fish and killing our firefish :/. What wrasse would you suggest though?

any flasher/fairy wrasse small enough for your tank, peaceful as a marshmallow. 6 lines become bullies.

So just tested my water Ammonia is between 0.25 & 0.5, Nitrate is between 0 & 5, and Nitrite is 0. Salinity is still 1.026 and temp is still 78 degrees. Going to test again in the morning and see what it says!

So just tested my water Ammonia is 0.5, Nitrate is 20 and Nitrite is 0 Salinity is still 1.026 and temp is still 78 degrees. Going to test again this evening and see what it says! Any feedback on my readings? Normal? Need to do a water change?

Ammonias high, so it hasn't 100% cycled, when it's just nitrate you can start lowering it, you don't want to slow down the cycle.

Alright so water levels are still good. Ammonia is 0.25, nitrate 10, and nitrite 0, salinity 1.026, and temp 78. Haven't done a water change yet. Do I need to right now? I also picked up a few corals this weekend at a sale couldn't pass up the prices along with a CUC. I got 3 zoa frags and a orange wall hammer and 15 hermits and a green emerald crab for $85 so far everything's been open and looking great they've been in the tank since Saturday. Here's a few pics! Hoping to add a shrimp goby pair this Saturday or sunday if everything goes as planned. Any thoughts?

Also have some diatom outbreak in the HOB refugium. Along with red bubble algae growing on the chaeto. Any thoughts on that? Is it normal?

lol iphone pics, I'm still there too. What works for me is to take a photo with flash, and then take it without the flash, the colours will show better in the second picture, even it's it's under blues

didn't see what you said aboout params. Ammonia is 0 or the tank hasn't cycled.

Good, let's hope it stays that way, next step is lowering nitrates, although yours aren't too high, it's still good to do. The golden number is 5ppm IMO. Zoas like it, and corals who don't like nitrates can tolerate it. Also, is that an orange hammer coral? Nice!

Yes! It an orange wall hammer! Got it for $45 thought that was a really good deal and had to get it!

Gonna be awesome when it grows out, my orange hammer (branching) doesn't like high light, none of my euphyllias (torch hammer and frogspawn) like high light.
