Thank you. After I removed my sand bed I really cranked up the flow to prevent detritus build up. There's a crazy amount of current in this tank and the corals seem to dig it.Amazing tank, I really hope my nano looks this good some day.
As for flow I have an 8g nano with 2 mp10's running at 60% reef crest plus my return pump. My sps love the flow the lps's I had in the tank didn't so they got moved to the sump

Well.. just when things were really settling in. The tank saw its first major crash. Completely at fault. Had a cup of coins and other nasty stuff spill into the tank while I was working on it. Changed out 50% water immediately after, but wasn't enough. Not sure exactly what got into the water. Tank was completely white in the AM, looked like it snowed in there. Fortunately, most acros are still living.. Definitely will lose a few. Lost a blackcap basslet and all inverts as a result. Things seems pretty stable now and there is minimal PE starting to show.. so we'll hope for the best.
