Amoo's Pasture 60 Gallon Shallow Reef

Mine is going to be a screwdriver and a book about coral
Holy crap, rough day?

I'm pretty pooped from another full day in the kitchen, not screwdriver pooped though

@GoVols IT BEGINS - I'll officially hate you in a few weeks. In the meantime, watching NW & Purdue. Always liked me some Pat Fitzgerald, even when he played for them in the 90s (I think)

:(

You guys need to go back one page where I posted a close up of one of the new guys as it was their last day on the frag rack.
That was like three days ago, who knows how they look now

Must say, props to @Rakie on our T5 convo we had privately. I have the Aquatic Life T5 Hybrid. For the last year I ran 2C+ and 2B+. I swapped it up to 2C+ and 2 Actinic. I'm really liking the look of it and everything in the tank seems to be responding well to the change. Outside of feeding the tank and dosing every few days I haven't had much time to do much else with this massive kitchen project going on. So since all updates need pictures, here you go.

DEWD!! Doing that by yourself must be a PITA! Especially insulation stuff... good luck to you!

Oh, and nice tank, I guess. ;)

LOL thanks, today was priming day, tomorrow is paint and HOPEFULLY they come to install the cabinets on Tuesday so we can get our kitchen out of the house and put it back in the kitchen. Sadly a 2-4 week wait on the countertops after cabinet install, but I can make some plywood work for a month after this.

Oh and just as a bonus, wife was like "you think we should paint the ceiling while we have everything apart."

Now let's be real the ceiling was turning a nice shade of cream and I've looked at it about 100 times throughout this project and been like "yup not dealing with that"....needless to say, the ceiling now has a fresh coat of primer on it as well. (primer works great for ceilings because flat already anyways)

At least... you don’t have to paint the floor? And cmon man, the ceiling is easiest! (I still have neck pain from half a year ago, LOL)

Oh I bought an extendable roller poll, wasn't the worst, keeping your arms below your heart really helps.

At times it did feel like I was painting the floor. Luckily somebody was a smart husband and bought a roll of 2mil plastic :) Only got it in my eyes twice.

Kitchen is ALMOST done. We're lacking countertops and I need to work on the trim, but all of the major stuff is knocked out now.

In other news I killed almost all of my coral again as things got too busy with the kitchen and I missed manually dosing a day, tried to make it up and it was too big of a jump. @Rakie yelled at me and told me I can't dose .6dKH every 3 days and expect SPS to live. Turns out he may be onto something.

So after finally resealing all of the grout in the kitchen last night I setup my DOS/DDR and made up 10L of ATI essentials and got that all dialed in. Going to start out at 3ml 4 times a day of each and see where that puts me. My dKH is currently at 8.29 so hopefully I can slowly drop it to 8 then dial everything in on the nose.

In the midst of all of the craziness I decided one day last week to send off one of the ATI-ICP tests, IIRC I believe it hit the mail on Friday so I'm not expecting anything until next week at the earliest.

@Katrina71 Can you tag me back into your build thread please. I was busy all weekend with the kitchen and when I logged in last night had a bazzillion alerts that I noped out of and can't find one for your thread.

same for you @najer
