Just some things off the top of my head....

Carbon blocks don't last very long. They do a great job of removing chloramine/chlorine, but standard blocks aren't good at chloramine's. Blocks made for chloramine are good, but most won't last past 3000 gallons total water passed through a RO/DI unit. Waste and good water.

Adding a extra Di resin cartridge may help.

The icp didnt really turn up anything.

It showed low levels of tin in my display and low levels of copper in my rodi water. But the display had no detectable levels of copper.

There are no chloramines in my water supply and I only make about 3 gallons of rodi a week since I only have a 10g nano so I dont see any component of my unit being depleted. I flush the unit each time before use so Tds goes into the di at 2 and comes out zero. The color changing resin is about half way through visually.

I dont know what the problem is.

That's the most recent FTS, from a month or so ago. Unfortunately, the sps up top have all gone down hill or died since. Zoas and lps randomly go up and down as well.

Could be too much light. How did the SPS decline? Pale/bleach or RTN?

Lights a AI Prime 10 inches off waterline running a modified AB+. I dont think lighting is the issue. People running the same light over the nuvo have success with sps running both less light and more light than me.

Tips indicate possible alkalinity burn. Others typically indicate and stress event causing bad bacteria to attack the tissue. Temp swing, water parameter swing or pest. Do you dip your corals?

Thanks, but that was actually part of the problem. People would give me great ideas and back went the hands into the tank. Im learning to love how i have it, but theres still this one big piece....

Struggling with dinos. Stopped NOPOX and increased NO3 and PO4. TDS on RO is zero. Added bacteria (followed a Facebook group recipe) and pods. Getting better but dinos still present. Lost all my sps ( lots of $$$). Tank is 11monts old, 160 gallons.

With a smaller tank I have a smaller footprint of dosing. I feel like a scientist with all the documentation and testing I do. I like seeing the progress in my reef parameters notebook.

My problem right now is lighting. I have 1 kessil a160we over a 20g long tank. I'm figuring out how to make it a hyprid with two t5's added to it to get faster growth.

What set of T5’s have you ordered, maybe someone on here can share how they have diy they’re. I have made my hybrid out of an old hybrid MH/t5 am always up for a bit of DIY
