It is easy to increase the salinity of your tank, just add salt. Just add it at the high flow area of the tank, then you don't have to mix it and scare the fish.

4. Hydrometers are the best tool you can own.
5. top off your tank with saltwater.

You can mix super concentrated salt solution ahead of time, then just dilute it to appropriate salinity right before you need to use it for water change. This way it is a lot easier to mix salt water for use.
